DXY appears to be in a long term falling wedge. Recently, it's had a steep uptick, which indicates a pullback, but it did successfully break up out of the wedge, and will most likely rebound and continue upwards (the dollar will become more valuable relative to other currencies).
This will take two years to play out, in my opinion. Most likely just after the next presidential election.
