Longshort
GRID RELOADED 1.0Script for grid trading on Bitmex XBTUSD 5min
A quick description for the input parameters. I can detail privately the ones that are important:
Points between two same dir trades = how much the price must change before a new DCA can happen
Points between SHORTS = same for short trades
Global Take Profit points = take profit for all open positions expressed in the same units as the price
Global Stop Loss points = same as for profit
Take Profit points decrease per bar = this is how much the target global profit decreases each bar toward zero
Trend up to start a trade long = wait for the DEMA to show a long slope before opening new long positions
Max long position = max n. of long positions
Check trend on trade = wait for a positive/negative bar before long/short
Min Stochastic overbought/sold for trade = wait for the stochastic to be below/above this before long/short
Limit Orders long % below close price = place limit orders % before current price. the order could be left pending.
DEMA 1 Length = periods of DEMA for trends
HA Candles = toggle a pattern match to enter trades

Bitfinex Long:Short RatioThis is a simple indicator that creates a ratio of margin Long & Short positions on Bitfinex for the ticker you currently have selected. If the ticker you are looking at does not have margin positions on Bitfinex; it will error out - however when you select another ticker it automatically resets.
The indicator provides the following:
Histogram of the ratio of margin Longs to margin Shorts. + results (green) are higher longs; - results (red) are higher shorts. NOTE: A 1:1 ratio has been offset to a 0 cross for the benefit of the histogram
A simple moving average line (yellow) for quick reference of current margin trend. Length is adjustable viable input.
A plotted line (blue) of margin longs as a ratio to the SMA of Longs. Above 1 indicates acceleration of trend; below 1 indicates deceleration
A plotted line (orange) of margin shorts as a ratio to the SMA of Shorts. Above 1 indicates acceleration of trend; below 1 indicates deceleration
Ratio is based on the close position and is intended as reference only. Don't rely on this supplied information as a sole indication prior to making a trade.
Chiki-Poki BFXLS Longs Shorts Abs Normalized Volume Pro by RRBChiki-Poki BFXLS Longs vs Shorts Absolute Normalized Volume Value Pro by RagingRocketBull 2018
Version 1.0
This indicator displays Longs vs Shorts in a side by side graph, shows volume's absolute price value and normalized volume of Longs/Shorts for the current asset. This allows for more accurate L/S comparisons (like a log scale for volume) since volume on spot exchanges (Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Coinbase etc) is measured in coins traded, not USD traded. Similarly, L/S is usually the amount of coins in open L/S positions, not their total USD value. On Bitmex and other futures exchanges volume is measured in USD traded, so you don't need to apply the Volume Absolute Price Value checkbox to compare L/S. You should always check first whether your source is measured in coins or USD.
Chiki-Poki BFXLS primarily uses *SHORTS/LONGS feeds from Bitfinex for the current crypto asset, but you can specify custom L/S source tickers instead.
This 2-in-1 works both in the Main Chart and in the indicator pane below. You can switch between Main/Sub Window panes using RMB on the indicator's name and selecting Move To/Pane Above/Below.
This indicator doesn't use volume of the current asset. It uses L/S ticker's OHLC as a source for SHORTS/LONGS volumes instead. Essentially L/S => L/S Volume == L/S
Features:
- Display Longs vs Shorts side by side graph for the current crypto asset, i.e. for BTCUSD - BTCUSDLONGS/BTCUSDSHORTS, for ETHUSD - ETHUSDLONGS/ETHUSDSHORTS etc.
- Use custom OHLC ticker sources for Longs/Shorts from different exchanges/crypto assets with/without exchange prefix.
- Plot Longs/Shorts as lines or candles
- Show/Hide L/S, Diff, MAs, ATH/ATL
- Use Longs/Shorts Volume Absolute Price Value (Price * L/S Volume) instead of Coins Traded in open L/S positions to compare total L/S value/capitalization
- Normalize L/S Volume using Price / Price MA / L/S Volume MA
- Supports any existing type of MA: SMA, EMA, WMA, HMA etc
- Volume Absolute Price Value / Normalize also works on candles
- Oscillator mode with negative axis (works in both Main Chart/Subwindow panes).
- Highlight L/S Volume spikes above L/S MAs in both lines/oscillator.
- Change L/S MA color based on a number of last rising/falling L/S bars, colorize candles
- Display L/S volume as 1000s, mlns, or blns using alpha multiplier
1. based on BFXLS Longs vs Shorts and Compare Style, uses plot*, security and custom hma functions
2. swma has a fixed length = 4, alma and linreg have additional offset and smoothing params
Notes:
- Make sure that Left Price Scale shows up with Auto Fit Data enabled. You can reattach indicator to a different scale in Style.
- It is not recommended to switch modes multiple times due to TradingView's scale reattachment bugs. You should switch between Main Chart and Sub Window only once.
- When the USD price of an asset is lower you can trade more coins but capitalization value won't be as significant as when there are less coins for a higher price. Same goes for Shorts/Longs.
Current ATH in shorts doesn't trigger a squeeze because its total value is now far less than before and we are in a bear market where it's normal to have a higher number of shorts.
- You should always subtract Hedged L/S from L/S because hedged positions are temporary - used to preserve the value of the main position in the opposite direction and should be disregarded as such.
- Low margin rates increase the probability of a move in an underlying direction because it is cheaper. High margin rates => the market is anticipating a move in this direction, thus a more expensive rate. Sudden 5-10x rate raises imply a possible reversal soon. high - 0.1%, avg - 0.01-0.02%, low - 0.001-0.005%

CCI Highlighted [ankit4349]>> This script is purely based on Commodity Channel Index (CCI) with multiple CCI instances being used within one oscillator.
>> User can use as much as 5 CCI instances/plot within one oscillator.
> How to use :
1. When Bullish :
Whenever CCI length 14 crosses above -100(negative 100) that means bullish momentum is supported.
Best bullish/long entry would be when CCI length 14 crosses above -100(negative 100) as mentioned above and at the same time CCI length
200 is bouncing on top of +100(positive 100).
2. When Bearish :
Whenever CCI length 14 crosses below +100(positive 100) that means bearish momentum is supported .
Best bearish/short entry would be when CCI length 14 crosses below +100(positive 100) as mentioned above and at the same time CCI length
200 is bouncing at bottom of -100(negative 100) .
> Color Clarity :
a. Bullish support is highlighted GREEN and bearish support is highlighted RED within the oscillator background with respect to
Length 1 (i.e 14 by default) .
b. PURPLE is highhighted when Length 5(i.e 200 by default) is bouncing either on top of +100(for bullish) or at bottom of -100(for bearish).
c. AQUA is highlighted when Length 3(i.e 50 by default) is bouncing on top or at bottom of 0 from either side respectively.
d. Best entry in both cases i.e bullish or bearish as mentioned above('How to use') is highlighted WHITE by default.
> Tip:
Just observe the color outputs on any timeframe in a chart as it works fractally on every timeframe , it will help you understand better with
clarity.
> You are always free to experiment with the CCI lengths, change highlighted color and hide/unhide the Lengths as per your requirements in
setting/format .
speed_long_short[WOZDUX]Indicator of the position growth rate in long and short. Schedule of positions long and short is taken from the stock exchange Bitfinex. The total number of long and short positions shows the total activity of traders and indirectly the total volume of transactions. On the chart of the indicator it is a blue line.
Since we do not study the absolute values of volumes, but the growth rate of volumes, the blue line shows the overall growth rate of all transactions. The red line shows the rate of growth of transactions in the short. The green line shows the rate of growth of transactions in the long.
The rate of growth of the absolute value of long positions is the green line. The rate of increase in the percentage of positions in the long light green. Thus, the relative growth of long positions (light green line) actually shows the Delta of the volume, since this is the ratio of the number of long positions to the total number of transactions .
By default, the pair btc usd is used. However, you can change this pair in the indicator settings.

RSI or %B of Bitfinex shorts /longs of main crypto trading pairsNormalized longs and shorts with %B or RSI of some crypto trading pairs listed below (longs and shorts data from Bitfinex). If you're not familiar with %B just use default setting and it will plot a RSI of the longs and shorts (screenshot is from %B). Obviously this should not be used as a single reason to take a trade but part of your analysis.
For some longs/shorts sentiment interpretation you can look at this:
cdn.discordapp.com
Available pairs (you can add some with very basic Pine Script knowledge but it will take more time loading):
BTCUSD
ETHUSD
ETHBTC
EOSBTC
LTCBTC
XRPBTC

WW buy/sellGreen and Red Triangles tell the overall trend
buy/sell are pretty obvious, what they do
the way i use it is:
long (buy) 50% of your position size when we have buy and then long (buy) another 50% when i get the green triangle
short (sell) 50% of your position size when we have sell and then short (sell) another 50% when i get the red triangle
also, i look at my RSI indicator to confirm the entry and exits
RSI is above green line and indicator says buy, it's a safe long
RSI is below green line and indicator says sell, it's a safe short
won't be able to describe much as the more you use it, more you get used to it
cheers!

Universal Longs Vs. Shorts - Ratio (Any Symbol)Hello again all my Trading View friends!
This script is a variation of my other script "Universal Longs Vs. Shorts - Percentage (Any Symbol)"
It allows you to choose ANY symbol and plot the ratio against ANY other symbol, as an indicator on your given pair. It is primarily used as an indicator of longs/shorts as well as shorts/longs as a ratio to each other.
For example, you could plot BITFINEX:BTCUSDLONGS against BITFINEX:BTCUSDSHORTS.
It plots the ratio of longs/shorts or shorts/longs. For example:
If there are more longs than shorts open, the long ratio will be great than 1 with no upper limit.
If there are less longs than shorts open, the ratio will be less than 1 but greater than 0.
The same is true when comparing shorts to longs. You can choose to view Longs Ratio only, Shorts Ratio only, or Both.
This is useful to see how many more longs there are than shorts, and visa versa, at any given time interval. It does not take into consideration total volume of longs + shorts to get an absolute number, but rather a relative ratio to each other.
If there are many more positions open in one direction over the other, the ratio will rise higher and higher away from 1, which lets you know generally that there is a lot greater volume of that position open compared to its reverse.

Universal Longs Vs. Shorts - Percentage (Any Symbol)Hello all my Trading View friends!!
This script allows you to choose ANY symbol and plot the ratio against ANY other symbol, as an indicator on your given pair. It is primarily used as an indicator of longs/shorts as well as shorts/longs as a percentage of total longs + shorts.
For example, you could plot BITFINEX:BTCUSDLONGS against BITFINEX:BTCUSDSHORTS.
It takes the ratio from an absolute 100%, rather than relative to each other. Therefore, each plot has a minimum of 0% and a maximum of 100%. You can choose to view Longs Percentage only, Shorts Percentage only, or Both.
This is useful to see what percentage of total positions are either long or short at any given time interval.

EMA Slope + EMA Cross Strategy (by ChartArt)This strategy uses divergences between three exponential moving averages and their slope directions as well as crosses between the price and these moving averages to switch between a long or short position. The strategy is non-stop in the market and always either long or short.
In addition the moving averages and price bars are colored depending if they are trending up or down.
The strategy was created for the "EURUSD" daily timeframe.
All trading involves high risk; past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
B3_HL2MAB3_HL2MA is a super smoothed mean of medians. This moving average is a great trend switch mechanism with a bit of a knack for showing mean deviation and reversion. If your clouds get to be large, you are probably ripe for taking the profits. Often the MA comes to meet price, so the reversion trade isn't what this indicator is all about. Enter on the cross or turn of the line, and exit on major deviations from the line if you can time them. This makes for a decent way to help stay in the trend. The line turns dark blue as in the case that a trend is compromised by price action, otherwise stay in the direction of teal = long and maroon = short.
The length on this is very sensitive, and a smaller number is the best; the four to six range is usually the best for that input. I made the math for this indicator myself from a simple idea to use the median price of the bar, and then average that out, and afterwards smoothed per my style. It has become one of only a couple MA based indicators I will use. Enjoy! :) ~B3

B3 Edge Trail-TraderAnswer to the locked strategy... Formerly "High-Low Trader" .. Changed the name to Edge Trail Trader to delineate from the locked version, which is no different. You can add this one to your favorites now.
Similar to SuperTrend or the ATR trailing stop lines that are common-place in chart indicator circles, the B3 High-Low Trail-Trader works as a back-break line to flip binary long and short biasing. Here is the strategy set to 7 bars back. You can find this style of trading system in several books, and there are many ways to come to the trailing stop line, so I imagine the bars back length can be slid around to suit certain charts. This happens to be my favorite trailing line.
B3 20/50 MeanSimple MA's 20 and 50 are averaged to produce a mean MA line. I like the smoothness of it, and it can help you stay in a trade in the slow moving trends. Also if you start to see a large cloud in your favor, it could be a great time take the profits.
B3 Edge TrailB3 Edge Trail is similar to a SuperTrend or ATR stopline system. It is based on the average of the highs and lows, and when back-broken, the binary bias flips. Simple as pie to use, just set your input to whatever suits your chart. The more "bars back" length the less flipping, then if you lower that input number it will result in an increase in sensitivity.
Enjoy, and now that TradingView has made it easy to do, I will be offering access to the strategies I have made based on my indicators. These will be available on the web eventually.
B3 High-Low Trail-TraderSimilar to SuperTrend or the ATR trailing stop lines that are common-place in chart indicator circles, the B3 High-Low Trail-Trader works as a back-break line to flip binary long and short biasing. Here is the strategy set to 7 bars back. You can find this style of trading system in several books, and there are many ways to come to the trailing stop line, so I imagine the bars back length can be slid around to suit certain charts. B3 Volume Weighted MomentumB3 VWM is a momentum indicator that responds to the change of price in relationship to volume. In the end the final formula is the classic physics test question of p=mv where p is momentum, m is mass and v is velocity. In this indicator mass is the amount of volume it took to move the price where it did, and velocity is the change in price expressed as a percentage of the bar range. Then, the indicator goes through some filtering to help display the line. Should appear with very little lag work it to find the perfect bar for reversals.
This can be thought of as directional volume times directional momentum index, but truly it is not these literally, as the script doesn't discern how many contracts flew to the bid or to the ask for separation. So with this momentum indicator you can hopefully get a feel of the volume flow, yet still use this like a traditional momentum oscillator. Look to hit the reversals at peaks, and use caution when trading longs when this indicator is negative, and vise versa. There can be divergence in this oscillator, and you can help remedy poor divergences by adjusting the smoothness or the flatness of the indicator to suit your chart. Also the dead zone and mid zone are likely in need of adjustments depending on volume flow and price changes for that symbol and resolution. Defaults are a great starting point for most charts 5m to day. Swing traders might enjoy a length of 8-10 to rid some quick changes of direction in the indicator. Love to have things like this up with pivot studies for level reversal entries, like the few on the shared oil chart.
Enjoy, and I hope you like some of my other proprieties too. Feel free to comment! ~B3
