The price of bitcoin went over 9k not because people wanted to buy it but because everyone and their mom wanted to short 7.8k but unfortunately a squeeze happened. 20% in a day is not an organic price action.
This is similar to the octoboer 2019 squeeze when it dropped from 10.5k to 6.5k but at that time stocks were still pumping. Now the difference is that stocks are going down too, so this may turn out really nasty.
