To understand how far price can go, we need to understand where the bets are being placed at this moment.
The money is BELOW 148.00. I cant see any meaningful ones above.

It now seems VERY LIKELY that price had reached the top @ 149.66
Lets hope it stays that way.

I think they would not repeat what they did last year when they put a massive sell order bringing down price a few hundred pips.
Now, they would just have to hold the line against the buyers. Then, i suspect a few days from now , Ueda would just have to make a 'hawkish' comment.

2 days ago, the JP10Y auction came in at 0.768%
Yield has been on the rise quickly and would soon hit 0.835%. Once it pass that line, it means it has crossed the 50% line. This would simply mean one thing - YCC is coming to an END.
The next obvious thing to do is to also end the -ve rates situation by moving it back to +ve. This is going to be a BIG thing. I think it would happen very soon.
Those who are smart enough will BUY JPY now. Of course, DUMBARSE will continue to buy XAU.

Yesterday, I wrote something about XAU where I said it is VERY HIGH now. It is comparable to January 1980 whereby a mix of inflation, rate hike and geopolitics caused it to RISE dramatically and then FELL HARD!!!
If we were to look at USDJPY back in January 1980, we can roughly see what might happen in the coming days/weeks - when XAU is destined to fall. Always remember - IT IS NEVER DIFFERENT THIS TIME!!!
