Ethereum didn't start the fire....

Ethereum is a incredible breakthrough in God knows what. The implications that it has on humanity, no one knows..All this caused the giant overkill speculation behind eth, don't get me wrong it is a great breakthrough, but if ya wanna not over speculate and just judge a tree by its fruits ... ethereum has a long way to go to really see some mainstream attraction crypto kitties is a step in the right direction but not good enough to justify a 1000eth. Dapps are just not being used in significant numbers and in the rare occasion that one is the gas to play the dapp and the time it takes for the transaction to go through are too much and too long.
The positives about Eth is its strong developer community and it has somewhat of a first mover advantage... and that's about it, if anyone can add to the positives please do so below.
My opinion is that it has to go all the way down close to capitulation and Ethereum Has to prove that it has some kind of utility that makes it at all useful otherwise why doesn't it just have the same price as ethereum classic? it is not a currency, crypto kitties is super boring so... whats it good for?
