Will the bullishness from last week continue? If it does, this is a repeating pattern that markets exhibit that traders look for.
You can see there is a dip/gathering phase required to fulfill this particular prophecy. We can use our knowledge of indicators to help us confirm momentum/oversold states to give us added confidence the early signals we are receiving are representative of the future state of the market.

In terms of 'over sold states' you should be thinking RSI, stochastic, CCI, just as examples. Those are some very popular ones, and it pays to be in the majority.
OBV also can be used to see if the accumulation in the dip phase is bullish or bearish.
if OBV is growing, it shows more buyers are entering the market. Unless you are a the end of a trend, more buyers attract buyers, meaning price will go up.
At the end of the trend, buyers often exhibit supreme confidence that the price will go bullish forever, and that is just when the early opportunists are taking their profits and leaving. This is one way newer, and even veteran traders get burnt. The result pictured on the chart will be a blow off top, followed by seller control. It's not stupid to look at a large green candle and think "this could be the blowoff top". Because major trend often have 5+ new highs, the odds are in your favor to go with the trend. If it is the blow off top, just take that as a lesson that you should gather yourself and get long earlier. It's tough to do this, and that's why not everyone makes money. It's not just tough, it's damn near impossible. But people do it, and you can to.

Got wicked out of my long position overnight. Market makers needed gas to go higher and they used me to fuel up. Don't choke.
