The dollar index shows how strong the dollar is compared to other currencies in the world.
When the DXY goes up, stocks, commodities and crypto go down and vice versa - this is simply because the dollar outperforms assets.
The DXY has been bearish for a long while which created inflated prices for assets and thus bull markets but now the tables have turned.
We can expect a mid term bearish momentum throughout the markets and strong corrections are not to be excluded.
I do not think this is the end of the crypto bull market but a bearish spring has arrived...

DXY UPDATE: DXY retesting and finding support at the 0.382 FIB level; looking very bullish to me. Especially because the USA is still asleep; I expect more gains today and more corrections on the commodities, stock and asset markets and I expect this trend to continue for the coming weeks.
