Alt season can't happen until BTC retests 20k.

Expecting a multi-month alt season that could take us into December once BTC retests 20k. Altcoins are the best way to make and lose Bitcoin, and the new money from BTC won't flow into alts until BTC proves to the market that we're entering a new bull cycle. Many are still bearish. But all that new money needs to go somewhere, and altcoins are like the pressure relief valve for Bitcoin. Looking to catch the capitulation, especially in bigger alts like XRP and ETH, where the money usually flows first.

Many alts have already pumped due to fundamentals, but it's not a real alt season until every single alt pumps for absolutely no damn reason.

So I missed something HUGE when I originally did this analysis. Last market cycle, BTC had a move up to ~775 USD and then went sideways for a bit. Around December 2015, there were TONS of alts that pumped 2x-18x from what I can tell. It was a foreshadowing to what would happen a year later in 2017.

Similarly to now, BTC had just had a big rally, marking the end of the bear market. There's definitely a possibility we go straight to 20k, and on the way up most alts continue to dive against BTC. However, in the last 2 cycles, BTC did not retest its ATH before the halvening. IF and ONLY IF we move sideways for the next 6 months, I think we will see alts take over the show for a bit. Let's see!
