So in my previous post I hadn't clearly thought out my analysis or understood the usage of the Gann fan when attempting to estimate a price for
BTCUSD
in 2019.
This updated look is somewhat better thought out.
I've now set the price per period ratio on the Gann Fan and avoided the use of the log scale. I picked $500/week as a nice rounded ratio. It is somewhat optimistic, though it fits almost perfectly as of last week.
I picked the start of the current price action as being 2017-07-17 and went from the Open for that week.
The end result suggests that if we can maintain current levels of cash injection we could see $40k by the end of 2018. Even if they fall back to a more modest $250/week we're looking at $21k.
Either way if you're a long term investor then perhaps it's not too late to buy in to Bitcoin.
