As I have always emphasized the most important factor for entry to buy position is being in an uptrend .
This chart is very clear for understanding what's exactly my strategy for trending .
Two necessary conditions :
Firstly breakout of a VALID LOW SLOPE DESCENDING trend line .
The other is passing out of a valid pivot point .
Valid trend line : A line that has touching with major pivots .
Finally you need a good trigger for entry that can be a good bullish candle after pullback (or passing of previous top before pullback) or closing above a MA or etc .
About BT GROUP the best for entry is closing above 172 and good SL can be 152
