Aleph.im has been locked at $0.26 for over two straight months

How is nobody talking about this? It has only fluctuated within a 0.6% range for over two months, only wicking outside of that range for minutes at a time. This all began the day the market began to tank. If these whales can keep this particular coin in such a tight range - apparently in effort to 'ride out' the dump - why is the rest of the crypto market so unstable?
