1. a basic concept
By vertical axis (price), shows the cumulative trading volume traded in the segment.
The longer the block, the more transactions took place in that price range.
Colors distinguish between buying/selling strength (green = buying advantage, red = selling advantage).
2. Key components
POC (Point of Control)
→ Longest block (most traded price segment, "key selling point").
VAH / VAL (Value Area High/Low)
→ Top/bottom segments where approximately 70% of the total volume is formed.

High Capacity Node (HVN)
→ Significantly higher trading volumes → strong support/resistance.
Low Volume Node (LVN)
→ Low volume section → areas where prices are easily passed.

Find Support/Resistance
The thickest block (POC) is used as a place where prices often rebound/resist.

4. Precautions
The volume distribution is "past data based" and is not an indicator of the future.
Rather than using it alone, it is more effective to combine with Fibonacci, trend lines, and candle patterns.
In particular, in the volatile market, the LVN breakthrough → may signal a surge/fall.
In summary, this block indicator is "a map showing the most market participants at any price point".
In other words, it is useful for finding support/resistance as a tool for analyzing sales and establishing the basis for trading strategies.

What it does

Best practices
Use on intraday timeframes for session-anchored lines.

Limitations
Different exchanges/markets use different RTH windows—pick the one that matches your venue.

If no RTH exists on the exact calendar day (holidays), the 90d line anchors to the most recent available RTH open before that date.

The Volumatic Fair Value Gaps indicator detects and plots size-filtered Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) and immediately analyzes the bullish vs. bearish volume composition inside each gap. When an FVG forms, the tool samples volume from a 10× lower timeframe , splits it into Buy and Sell components, and overlays two compact bars whose percentages always sum to 100%. Each gap also shows its total traded volume . A live dashboard (top-right) summarizes how many bullish and bearish FVGs are currently active and their cumulative volumes—offering a quick read on directional participation and trend pressure.
🔵 CONCEPTS
FVGs (Fair Value Gaps) : Imbalance zones between three consecutive candles where price “skips” trading. The script plots bullish and bearish gaps and extends them until mitigated.
Size Filtering : Only significant gaps (by relative size percentile) are drawn, reducing noise and emphasizing meaningful imbalances.

Volume Decomposition : For each FVG, the indicator inspects a 10× lower timeframe and aggregates volume of bullish vs. bearish candles inside the gap’s span.
100% Split Bars : Two inline bars per FVG display the % Bull and % Bear shares; their total is always 100%.
Total Gap Volume : A numeric label at the right edge of the FVG shows the total traded volume associated with that gap.
Mitigation Logic : Gaps are removed when price closes through (or touches via high/low—user-selectable) the opposite boundary.

Turn on/off FVG types : Enable Bullish FVG and/or Bearish FVG depending on your focus.
Tune the filter : The script already filters by relative size; if you need fewer (stronger) signals, increase the percentile threshold in code or reduce the number of displayed boxes.
Choose mitigation source :
close — stricter; gap is removed when a closing price crosses the boundary.
high/low — more sensitive; a wick through the boundary mitigates the gap.
Read the per-FVG bars :
A higher Bull % inside a bullish gap suggests constructive demand backing the imbalance.
A higher Bear % inside a bearish gap suggests supply is enforcing the imbalance.
Use total gap volume : Larger totals imply more meaningful interest at that imbalance; confluence with structure/HTF levels increases relevance.
Watch the dashboard : If bullish counts and cumulative volume exceed bearish, market pressure is likely skewed upward (and vice versa). Combine with trend tools or market structure for entries/exits.
Optional: hide volume bars : Disable Volume Bars when you want a cleaner FVG map while keeping total volume labels and the dashboard.

Volumetric Compressed MAVCMA (Volumetric Compressed Moving Average) uses the compressor and weighted standard deviation functions originally translated to pinescript by @gorx1 to plot moving averages in order to use for entry confirmation.
🔹 Concepts and Idea:
When we do music we always use different kinds of filters (low-pass, high pass, etc) for equalization and filtering itself. That stuff we use in finance as well. What we also always use in music are compressors, there dynamic processors that automatically adjust volume so it will be more consistent. Almost all the cool music you hear is compressed (both individual instruments (especially vocals) and the whole track afterwards), otherwise stuff will be too quite and too weak to flex on it, and also DJing it would be a nightmare.
🔹 Model:
I don't wanna explain it all in statistical / DSP way for once.
First of all, I think the population of volumes is log-normally distributed, so let's take logs of volumes, now we have a ~ normally distributed data. We take linearly weighted mean, add and subtract linearly weighted standard deviation from it, these would be our thresholds, the borders between different kinds of volumes explained before.
The upper threshold is for downward compression, that will not let volume pass it higher.
The lower threshold is for upward compression, all the volumes lower than this threshold will be brought up to the threshold's level.
Then we apply multipliers to the thresholds in order to adjust em and find the sweet spots. We do it the same way as in sound engineering when we don't aim for overcompression, we adjust the thresholds until they start to touch the signal and all good.
Afterwards, we delete all the number 1 and number 3 volume, leaving us exclusively with the clear main component, ready to be processed further.
We return the volumes to dem real scale.

🔹 Settings:
MA Type: Moving average type to be used for comparison after calculating the compressed version of volume. This creates the second line after the compression line, so we can consider crossovers for confirmation entries.
Upward threshold: Upward threshold where the compression of volume is calculated. Increasing usually causes smoother lines.
Downward threshold: Downward threshold where the compression of volume is calculated. Decreasing usually causes smoother lines.
Compression Lookback: The Main lookback window of a volume that is used for compression. Increasing this would provide smoother lines but might cause delayed signals. Decreasing means more signals, but might cause whiplash and distorted signals.
Comparative Lookback: This is our lookback to be used with our ma type selection. There is no static better or worse lookback value for this indicator. It should be adjusted based on the pair.
🔹 Where to use:
This indicator should be used as another confirmation tool for your entry signals in your existing strategy/market following combination. Green dots (crossovers) mean bullish movement is expected, and red dots (crossbounders) mean bearish movement is expected. Automated crossover alerts are available. A reminder is that this kind of indicator should not be used on its own for trading, but rather should be used as a confirmation along with your trend detection and main entry indicators to provide additional confidence.

We calculate the ratio of the compressed volume and plot it against the base MA. Base MA's length is determined by the Compression Lookback input compared to the Comperative Lookback that is used for the compressed version. This provides us with another possible confirmation indicator that can be used to take advantage of volume ranges.
VBC Signals with TP/SL V1.0This script was based on volume break candle theory.
VBC has a very simple idea. It uses the principle that if the price of the XAUUSD asset rises above a specified range of at least 600 points (configuarable) continuously, and a candle breaks the upward trend, a signal will be generated to sell. The entry principle is to enter at the price at the last bullish candle with TP300 SL300.
On the other hand, if the price of xauusd falls below the specified level of 600 points and a candle breaks the price down by 1 candle, a BUY signal will occur, and the ENTRY and TP SL will use the same values as the SELL signalใ
How it works:
SELL SIGNAL : When the asset price rises above 600 points continuously and a "SELL" signal occurs, place a limit sell order at the pair of green and red bars that formed the signal, specifying a TP of 300 and SL of 300.
BUY SIGNAL : When the asset price falls more than 600 points continuously and a "BUY" signal occurs, place a limit sell order at the double bar pattern of the red and green bars that formed the signal, specifying a TP of 300 and a SL of 300.

🔎 What It Does
Candle Decomposition:
Plots total candle ranges (high–low) in gray, for both up and down closes.
Plots up-close bodies (open–close) in white.
Plots down-close bodies in black.
This makes it easy to spot whether volatility comes from real price movement (body) or extended wicks.
ATR & SMA Volatility Bands:
Calculates ATR (Average True Range) and overlays it as a black line.
Plots four volatility envelopes derived from the SMA of the true range:

Imbalance (z-score of that premium) → how extreme the current premium is relative to its own history over lenPrem bars.
Hysteresis state machine → flips to a SHORT bias when perp-long pressure is extreme; flips to LONG bias when perp-short pressure is extreme. It exits only after the imbalance cools (prevents whipsaw).
Price stretch filter (±σ) → optional Bollinger check so signals only fire when price is already stretched.

A single line (z):
Above 0 = perp richer than spot (perp longs pressing).
Below 0 = perp cheaper than spot (perp shorts pressing).

Red when state = SHORT bias (perp longs heavy).
Blue when state = LONG bias (perp shorts heavy).

How to use it (playbook)
Attach & set symbols
Put the script on your chart.
Set Spot symbol and Perp symbol to the venue you trade (e.g., BINANCE:BTCUSDT + BINANCE:BTCUSDTPERP).
Read the bias
SHORT bias (red background): perp longs over-extended. Look for short entries if price is at resistance, σ-stretched, or your PA system agrees.
LONG bias (blue background): perp shorts over-extended. Look for long entries at support/σ-stretched down.
Entries
Use the bias flip as a context/confirm. Combine with your structure trigger (OB/level sweep, rejection wick, micro-break in market structure, etc.).
If useSigma=true, only trade when price is already ≥ upper band (shorts) or ≤ lower band (longs).
Exits
Bias auto-exits when |z| falls below exitZ.
You can also take profits at your levels or when the line fades back toward 0 while price mean-reverts to the middle band.
Tuning (what each knob does)

Practical tips
Don’t trade the line in isolation. Use it to time trades into your levels: VWAP bands, Monday high/low, prior POC/VAH/VAL, order blocks, etc.

How the Script Works
1. Data Gathering
The script uses lower-timeframe price and volume data to calculate buy volume, sell volume, and total traded volume for the current and previous candles.
2. Volume Allocation
Buy and sell volumes are estimated by looking at the candle’s range (high to low) and how the closing price aligns within that range. The closer the close is to the high, the stronger the buying pressure. The closer the close is to the low, the stronger the selling pressure.
3. Delta and Momentum
o Delta measures the difference between buy and sell volume.
o Volume momentum compares the current candle’s activity to the previous one, showing if interest is rising or fading.
4. Point of Control (POC)
An average of high, low, and close is calculated to give an approximate “point of control” level—an area of balance where buyers and sellers previously agreed on price.
5. Dashboard Visualization
All these calculations are displayed inside a clean dashboard table with separate rows for the current candle, previous candle, and a summary row. Icons, colors, and progress bars make it visually intuitive.
6. On-Chart Progress Indicator
A dynamic horizontal progress bar is plotted on the chart above price, showing the balance between buy and sell volume for the latest activity.
7. Alerts
Built-in alerts trigger when strong buying or selling pressure is detected or when there is a significant spike in total traded volume.

Add to Chart: Apply the indicator to your TradingView chart via the Pine Editor or Indicators menu.
Configure Settings:
Pivot Settings: Adjust Pivot Length to change the sensitivity of pivot detection—the value represents the number of candles, which equals the delay in displaying the pivot. Larger values generate fewer pivots, but they are generally more significant. Set Max High Pivot Boxes and Max Low Pivot Boxes to control the number of displayed boxes.
Signal Settings: Enable Use Volume Filter for Signals to require higher volume for breakouts, and adjust Average Volume Multiplier and Average Volume Period. A volume multiplier of 1 means the filter allows pivots with a volume equal to or greater than the average volume over the specified period.
Box Styling: Configure border colors, background gradients, line thickness, and border styles for high and low pivot boxes.
Interpreting Signals:
Buy Signal: A green triangle below the bar indicates a breakout above a high pivot box, suggesting potential continuation of an uptrend.
Sell Signal: A red triangle above the bar indicates a breakout below a low pivot box, suggesting potential continuation of a downtrend.
Non-Breakout Zones: If the price approaches a pivot zone but fails to break it, it may indicate a potential trend reversal or the end of a correction (e.g., price rejection at a resistance level in a downtrend or a support level in an uptrend).
Overlapping Zones: If pivot zones overlap, it indicates the level has been tested multiple times, suggesting its significance in the market.

█ APPLICATIONS
Price Action Trading: Use pivot levels as support and resistance zones. For example, in an uptrend, you can look for buying opportunities near low pivot zones (support), where price often bounces after testing the wick of a pivot candle. Combining with other indicators, such as Fibonacci levels, enhances the significance of pivot zones—if they align with Fibonacci levels and are accompanied by high volume, the zone is considered stronger.
Breakout Strategies: Trade based on breakout signals from key pivot zones. A buy signal after a breakout from a high pivot with confirmed volume may indicate continued upward movement. Using the indicator with other tools, such as moving averages or RSI, can help confirm the strength of the breakout.
Practical Approach:
The more frequently a zone is tested in a short period, the higher the risk of a breakout, as supply or demand may be exhausted.
The longer a zone holds without breaking, the more significant it becomes for the market, both psychologically and technically.
As the saying goes: “A zone is strong until it breaks—when it does, a strong move often follows.”
How to observe?
Strong bounces from a zone indicate that demand or supply remains active.
Weaker bounces or price lingering near the level may suggest the market is preparing for a breakout.
█ NOTES
Test the indicator across different timeframes and markets (stocks, forex, crypto) to optimize settings for your trading style.
The volume filter will not work on markets where volume data is unavailable. In such cases, disable the volume filter in the settings.
For best results, use on high-liquidity markets when the volume filter is enabled.
