OSPL Volume [Community Edition]NSE:BANKNIFTY1!
This indicator is based on the concepts popularized by @OptionsScalper123 "Siva" of OiPulse. His ideology Is that large moves come after high volume candles. For Nifty, high volume is considered to be a candle above 125k volume and for BankNifty it’s 50k.
This indicator allows you to cut the noise and focus only on the high volume candle. It shows high volume candle in a brighter shade and lower volume candles in a less visible shade.
You can set the minimum volume threshold limit for Nifty and BankNifty. The indicator smartly recognizes which index you are using it in and uses the respective threshold volume limit.
All colors are customizable.
Thanks for Siva for all the ideas and wonderful products he has given to the community
Thanks to all the wonderful Pinescipters for developing awesome indicators and keeping the source open.
The source code of this indicator is just a few lines. Hope you can use it in your projects and learn something from this just how I learned from other scripts.
Any changes or updates needed in this indicator, please suggest. I was thinking some kind of alerts can be added when volume crosses the threshold. Let me know.
Boost/like this indicator and comment if you find this useful. Cheers and happy trading!!!

Trend Score HTF (Raw Data) Pine Screener📘 Trend Score HTF (Raw Data) Pine Screener — Indicator Guide
This indicator tracks price action using a custom cumulative Trend Score (TS) system. It helps you visualize trend momentum, detect early reversals, confirm direction changes, and screen for entries across large watchlists like SPX500 using TradingView’s Pine Script Screener (beta).
⸻
🔧 What This Indicator Does
• Assigns a +1 or -1 score when price breaks the previous high or low
• Accumulates these scores into a real-time tsScore
• Detects early warnings (primed flips) and trend changes (confirmed flips)
• Supports alerts and labels for visual and automated trading
• Designed to work inside the Pine Screener so you can filter hundreds of tickers live
⸻
⚙️ Recommended Settings (for Beginners)
When adding the indicator to your chart:
Go to the “Inputs” tab at the top of the settings panel.
Then:
• Uncheck “Confirm flips on bar close”
• Check “Accumulate TS Across Flips? (ON = non-reset, OFF = reset)”
This setup allows you to see trend changes immediately without waiting for bar closes and lets the trend score build continuously over time, making it easier to follow long trends.
⸻
🧠 Core Logic
Start Date
Select a meaningful historical start date — for example: 2020-01-01. This provides long-term context for trend score calculation.
Per-Bar Delta (Δ) Calculation
The indicator scores each bar based on breakout behavior:
If the bar breaks only the previous high, Δ = +1
If it breaks only the previous low, Δ = -1
If it breaks both the high and low, Δ = 0
If it breaks neither, Δ = 0
This filters out wide-range or indecisive candles during volatility.
Cumulative Trend Score
Each bar’s delta is added to the running tsScore.
When it rises, bullish pressure is building.
When it falls, bearish pressure is increasing.
Trend Flip Logic
A bullish flip happens when tsScore rises by +3 from the lowest recent point.
A bearish flip happens when tsScore falls by -3 from the highest recent point.
These flips update the active trend direction between bullish and bearish.
⸻
⚠️ What Is a “Primed” Flip?
A primed flip is a signal that the current trend is about to flip — just one point away.
A primed bullish flip means the trend is currently bearish, but the tsScore only needs +1 more to flip. If the next bar breaks the previous high (without breaking the low), it will trigger a bullish flip.
A primed bearish flip means the trend is currently bullish, but the tsScore only needs -1 more to flip. If the next bar breaks the previous low (without breaking the high), it will trigger a bearish flip.
Primed flips are plotted one bar ahead of the current bar. They act like forecasts and give you a head start.
⸻
✅ What Is a “Confirmed” Flip?
A confirmed flip is the first bar of a new trend direction.
A confirmed bullish flip appears when a bearish trend officially flips into a new bullish trend.
A confirmed bearish flip appears when a bullish trend officially flips into a new bearish trend.
These signals are reliable and great for entries, trend filters, or reversals.
⸻
🖼 Visual Cues
The trend score (tsScore) line shows the accumulated trend strength.
A Δ histogram shows the daily price contribution: +1 for breaking highs, -1 for breaking lows, 0 otherwise.
A green background means the chart is in a bullish trend.
A red background means the chart is in a bearish trend.
A ⬆ label signals a primed bullish flip is possible on the next bar.
A ⬇ label signals a primed bearish flip is possible on the next bar.
A ✅ means a bullish flip just confirmed.
A ❌ means a bearish flip just confirmed.
⸻
🔔 Alerts You Can Use
The indicator includes these built-in alerts:
• Primed Bullish Flip — watch for possible bullish reversal tomorrow
• Primed Bearish Flip — watch for possible bearish reversal tomorrow
• Bullish Confirmed — official entry into new uptrend
• Bearish Confirmed — official entry into new downtrend
You can set these alerts in TradingView to monitor across your chart or watchlist.
⸻
📈 How to Use in TradingView Pine Screener
Step 1: Create your own watchlist — for example, SPX500
Step 2: Favorite this indicator so it shows up in the screener
Step 3: Go to TradingView → Products → Screeners → Pine (Beta)
Step 4: Select this indicator and choose a condition, like “Bullish Confirmed”
Step 5: Click Scan
You’ll instantly see stocks that just flipped trends or are close to doing so.
⸻
⏰ When to Use the Screener
Use this screener after market close or before the next open to avoid intraday noise.
During the day, if a candle breaks both the high and low, the delta becomes 0, which may cancel a flip or primed signal.
Results during regular trading hours can change frequently. For best results, scan during stable periods like pre-market or after-hours.
⸻
🧪 Real-World Examples
SWK
NVR
WMT
UNH
Each of these examples shows clean, structured trend transitions detected in advance or confirmed with precision.
PLTR: complicated case primed for bullish (but we don't when it will flip)
⚠️ Risk Disclaimer & Trend Context
A confirmed bullish signal does not guarantee an immediate price increase. Price may continue to consolidate or even pull back after a bullish flip.
Likewise, a primed bullish signal does not always lead to confirmation. It simply means the conditions are close — but if the next bar breaks both the high and low, or breaks only the low, the flip will be canceled.
On the other side, a confirmed bearish signal does not mean the market will crash. If the overall trend is bullish (for example, tsScore has been rising for weeks), then a bearish flip may just represent a short-term pullback — not a trend reversal.
You always need to consider the overall market structure. If the long-term trend is bullish, it’s usually smarter to wait for bullish confirmation signals. Bearish flips in that context are often just dips — not opportunities to short.
This indicator gives you context, not predictions. It’s a tool for alignment — not absolute outcomes. Use it to follow structure, not fight it.

VWMA CandlesVWMA Candles – Smarter Candle Coloring with Volume Awareness
This indicator enhances your chart candles by showing their relationship to the Volume-Weighted Moving Average (VWMA). It visually integrates the VWMA and price action, making it easier to spot momentum shifts, value zones, and price interaction with volume-weighted levels. I saw this indicator idea from TrendSpider on threads and decided to try and make my own. This is my first publicly shared script so go easy on me!
IN ORDER FOR THE COLOR CODING TO WORK PROPERLY, YOU MUST:
GO TO -> CHART SETTINGS -> SYMBOLS AND DISABLE BODIES, BORDERS, AND WICKS.
How it works:
The VWMA is plotted on your chart with a customizable band around it.
Candles change color depending on their position relative to the VWMA and its band:
Green → Price is above the VWMA (bullish bias).
Orange → Price is near or touching the VWMA/band (potential reaction zone).
Red → Price is below the VWMA (bearish bias).
You can choose between custom candles (full plotcandle styling) or simply recolor your existing chart candles with barcolor.
Customization options:
Select how the band is calculated: by % of VWMA, ATR multiple, or Ticks/Points.
Adjust colors separately for candle body, wick, and border.
Choose to show/hide the VWMA line and the band fill.
Fine-tune transparency for a clean look on any chart background.
Why traders use it:
Quickly spot when price is stretched away from the VWMA (overextended conditions).
Identify when candles are interacting with the VWMA (potential support/resistance).
Add volume-sensitivity to your trend analysis compared to standard moving averages.
Authors Note: The default settings work well with stocks on the weekly timeframe, although this can be used on any timeframe. The settings are highly adjustable for you to tune it to your liking.

Multi HTF High/Low LevelsThis indicator plots the previous high and low from up to four user-defined higher timeframes (HTF), providing crucial levels of support and resistance. It's designed to be both powerful and clean, giving you a clear view of the market structure from multiple perspectives without cluttering your chart.
Key Features:
Four Customizable Timeframes: Configure up to four distinct higher timeframes (e.g., 1-hour, 4-hour, Daily, Weekly) to see the levels that matter most to your trading style.
Automatic Visibility: The indicator is smart. It automatically hides levels from any timeframe that is lower than your current chart's timeframe. For example, if you're viewing a Daily chart, the 4-hour levels won't be shown.
Clean On-Chart Lines: The high and low for each timeframe are displayed as clean, extended horizontal lines, but only for the duration of the current higher-timeframe period. This keeps your historical chart clean while still showing the most relevant current levels.
Persistent Price Scale Labels: For easy reference, the price of each high and low is always visible on the price scale and in the data window. This is achieved with an invisible plot, giving you the accessibility of a plot without the visual noise.
How to Use:
Go into the indicator settings.
Under each "Timeframe" group, check the "Show" box to enable that specific timeframe.
Select your desired timeframe from the dropdown menu.
The indicator will automatically calculate and display the previous high and low for each enabled timeframe.

Alexmoku Genesis v0.2.6 — Runtime BulletproofAlexmoku Genesis v0.2.6 – Reinventing Ichimoku with Precision and Intelligence
Built by Alex • Engineered for traders who demand more than lagging clouds
🔬 Overview
Alexmoku Genesis is a ground-up reimagining of the traditional Ichimoku system — retaining its philosophical foundations of harmony, balance, and structure, while infusing it with modern logic, advanced volatility modeling, and AI-aligned signal classification.
This is not your grandfather’s Ichimoku. Genesis transforms it into a forward-sensing, volatility-aware system that adapts in real time and guides discretionary and algorithmic traders alike with smarter signals, predictive structure, and built-in trade intelligence.
⚙️ Core Enhancements
📐 Volatility-Responsive Smoothing
Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen lengths are dynamically adjusted based on recent price volatility (ATR-based).
Prevents overreaction in choppy markets and improves responsiveness during strong trends.
🌀 Adaptive Cloud Projection
Span A and Span B are still projected 52 periods forward — but cloud width adapts to market rhythm, not just static values.
🕵️ Enhanced Chikou Span (CKS+)
Chikou logic is upgraded to emphasize structure interaction, not just simple price overlay.
Useful for identifying support/resistance echoes and divergence validation.
🌐 Multi-Timeframe Cloud Awareness (Genesis Core)
Internal alignment checks between higher and lower timeframe Kumo positioning.
Future module support for overlaying MTF clouds.
🔖 Signal Classifier Engine (Experimental)
Each major structure event is tagged with signal intent:
📦 prep
🚀 launch
🔁 reversion
🪤 trap
Enables faster discretionary reads or future automation.
🧠 Trust Score Logic (Coming soon)
Future versions will assign numerical trust scores (1–10) to trade setups based on confluence.
🧰 Settings
🔧 Volatility Scaling Factor – Adjusts how reactive the indicator is to volatility. Default: 300.
🌫 Displacement (Kumo) – Cloud projection forward. Default (and required): 52.
⛅ Cloud Display Toggle – Show/hide Kumo visuals without affecting logic.
⚡️ Future expansion modules already scaffolded (MTF overlays, color-coded signal classifiers, Trust Score engine, etc.)
🧘 Philosophy Behind the System
"This isn’t just about catching runners — it’s about becoming the kind of person who can trade with clarity, peace, and precision."
Alexmoku Genesis reflects the W.E.A.L.T.H. System's holistic philosophy:
Wealth
Engineered
Algorithmic
Leveraged
Trading
Holistically
Trading isn't just a strategy. It's a mirror. Genesis is designed to train both your execution and your awareness.

Candlestick Patterns Dashboard Pro+ [ULTIMATE]Unleash the power of automated candlestick analysis with the most comprehensive and customizable pattern detection tool on TradingView. This is not just another pattern scanner; it's a complete trading dashboard designed to identify, score, and confirm high-probability setups, saving you hours of manual chart analysis.
Built with performance and reliability in mind, this script goes beyond simple detection by introducing a unique reliability score for every pattern, advanced confirmation filters, and a powerful on-screen dashboard to keep you informed.
Key Features
📈 Comprehensive Pattern Detection: Automatically identifies 13 of the most effective candlestick patterns, including Bullish/Bearish Engulfing, Hammer, Shooting Star, Doji, Morning/Evening Star, and more.
🔟 Dynamic Reliability Scoring: Every pattern is assigned a score from 1-10 based on its confirmation strength. Factors include candle body size, volume confirmation, trend alignment, and higher-timeframe confluence, giving you a quantifiable measure of a pattern's potential.
📊 The Ultimate Dashboard: Your at-a-glance command center. The on-screen dashboard provides a complete summary of all active patterns, showing you exactly when they last occurred and highlighting the most recent signals. It also includes an "Overall Bias" meter for a quick sentiment check.
🛡️ Trade Smarter with Advanced Confirmation Filters: Eliminate low-quality signals and focus on what matters.
Trend Alignment: Use SMA(50) and SMA(200) to only show patterns that agree with the dominant market trend.
Volume Confirmation: Validate patterns by requiring a surge in volume.
Non-Repainting HTF Confirmation: Ensure your patterns align with the trend on a higher timeframe (e.g., Daily trend for a 4H signal) using a reliable, non-repainting method.
Market Condition Filter: Isolate patterns that occur only in "Trending" or "Ranging" markets.
Time Filter: Restrict pattern detection to specific trading sessions.
🔧 ‘Fuzzy Logic’ for Real-World Trading: Textbook patterns are rare. Use the "Fuzzy Logic" settings to adjust the criteria for patterns like the Hammer, Piercing Line, and Doji, allowing you to catch imperfect but still valid real-world formations.
⚙️ Fully Customizable Scoring: You decide what's important! Adjust the bonus scores for volume, trend, and other factors to create a scoring system that perfectly aligns with your trading strategy.
🚨 Powerful & Customizable Alerts: Never miss an opportunity.
Create alerts for any individual pattern.
Get notified of "Pattern Clusters" when multiple bullish or bearish signals appear in close succession.
Customize the alert messages to be compatible with your favorite trading automation services.
🚀 Performance Optimized: A "Max Bars Back" setting ensures the script runs smoothly and efficiently, even on lower-end devices or extensive historical data.
How To Use This Indicator
For Confirmation: The primary strength of this tool is for confirmation. Do not trade based on patterns alone. Use the detected signals to confirm your own analysis, such as a pattern appearing at a key support/resistance level, a trendline, or a Fibonacci retracement. A Bullish Engulfing pattern at a major support level is a much stronger signal than one appearing in the middle of a range.
For Discovery: Use the Dashboard to quickly scan through your favorite assets. A dashboard full of recent bullish signals on one asset, and bearish on another, can instantly help you focus your attention for the day.
Customizing for Your Style:
Start with the Market Presets ("Forex," "Stocks," "Crypto") for a solid baseline.
Dive into the Scoring Weights to tell the indicator what you value most. A pure volume trader might increase the Volume Bonus score.
Adjust the Fuzzy Logic settings based on your market's volatility. A volatile crypto market might require a more lenient Doji definition than a stable blue-chip stock.
Setting Up Alerts:
Add the indicator to your chart.
Click the "Alert" button in the TradingView toolbar.
Set the "Condition" to "Candlestick Patterns Dashboard Pro+ ".
Choose the specific alert you want from the dropdown (e.g., "Bullish Pattern Detected," "Bearish Pattern Cluster").

Chart-Only Scanner — Pro Table v2.5.1Chart-Only Scanner — Pro Table v2.5
User Manual (Pine Script v6)
What this tool does (in one line)
A compact, on-chart table that scores the current chart symbol (or an optional override) using momentum, volume, trend, volatility, and pattern checks—so you can quickly decide UP, DOWN, or WAIT.
Quick Start (90 seconds)
Add the indicator to any chart and timeframe (1m…1M).
Leave “Override chart symbol” = OFF to auto-use the chart’s symbol.
Choose your layout:
Row (wide horizontal strip), or Grid (title + labeled cells).
Pick a size preset (Micro, Small, Medium, Large, Mobile).
Optional: turn on “Use Higher TF (EMA 20/50)” and set HTF Multiplier (e.g., 4 ⇒ if chart is 15m, HTF is 60m).
Watch the table:
DIR (↑/↓/→), ROC%, MOM, VOL, EMA stack, HTF, REV, SCORE, ACT.
Add an alert if you want: the script fires when |SCORE| ≥ Action threshold.
What to expect
A small table appears on the chart corner you choose, updating each bar (or only at bar close if you keep default smart-update).
The ACT cell shows 🔥 (strong), 👀 (medium), or ⏳ (weak).
Panels & Settings (every option explained)
Core
Momentum Period: Lookback for rate-of-change (ROC%). Shorter = more reactive; longer = smoother.
ROC% Threshold: Minimum absolute ROC% to call direction UP (↑) or DOWN (↓); otherwise →.
Require Volume Confirmation: If ON and VOL ≤ 1.0, the SCORE is forced to 0 (prevents low-volume false positives).
Override chart symbol + Custom symbol: By default, the indicator uses the chart’s symbol. Turn this ON to lock to a specific ticker (e.g., a perpetual).
Higher TF
Use Higher TF (EMA 20/50): Compares EMA20 vs EMA50 on a higher timeframe.
HTF Multiplier: Higher TF = (chart TF × multiplier).
Example: on 3H chart with multiplier 2 ⇒ HTF = 6H.
Volatility & Oscillators
ATR Length: Used to show ATR% (ATR relative to price).
RSI Length: Standard RSI; colors: green ≤30 (oversold), red ≥70 (overbought).
Stoch %K Length: With %D = SMA(%K, 3).
MACD Fast/Slow/Signal: Standard MACD values; we display Line, Signal, Histogram (L/S/H).
ADX Length (Wilder): Wilder’s smoothing (internal derivation); also shows +DI / −DI if you enable the ADX column.
EMAs / Trend
EMA Fast/Mid/Slow: We compute EMA(20/50/200) by default (editable).
EMA Stack: Bull if Fast > Mid > Slow; Bear if Fast < Mid < Slow; Flat otherwise.
Benchmark (optional, OFF by default)
Show Relative Strength vs Benchmark: Displays RS% = ROC(symbol) − ROC(benchmark) over the Momentum Period.
Benchmark Symbol: Ticker used for comparison (e.g., BTCUSDT as a market proxy).
Columns (show/hide)
Toggle which fields appear in the table. Hiding unused fields keeps the layout clean (especially on mobile).
Display
Layout Mode:
Row = a single two-row strip; each column is a metric.
Grid = a title row plus labeled pairs (label/value) arranged in rows.
Size Preset: Micro, Small, Medium, Large, Mobile change text size and the grid density.
Table Corner: Where the panel sits (e.g., Top Right).
Opaque Table Background: ON = dark card; OFF = transparent(ish).
Update Every Bar: ON = update intra-bar; OFF = smart update (last bar / real-time / confirmed history).
Action threshold (|score|): The cutoff for 🔥 and alert firing (default 70).
How to read each field
CHART: The active symbol name (or your custom override).
DIR: ↑ (ROC% > threshold), ↓ (ROC% < −threshold), → otherwise.
ROC%: Rate of change over Momentum Period.
Formula: (Close − Close ) / Close × 100.
MOM: A scaled momentum score: min(100, |ROC%| × 10).
VOL: Volume ratio vs 20-bar SMA: Volume / SMA(Volume,20).
1.5 highlights as yellow (significant participation).
ATR%: (ATR / Close) × 100 (volatility relative to price).
RSI: Colored for extremes: ≤30 green, ≥70 red.
Stoch K/D: %K and %D numbers.
MACD L/S/H: Line, Signal, Histogram. Histogram color reflects sign (green > 0, red < 0).
ADX, +DI, −DI: Trend strength and directional components (Wilder). ADX ≥ 25 is highlighted.
EMA 20/50/200: Current EMA values (editable lengths).
STACK: Bull/Bear/Flat as defined above.
VWAP%: (Close − VWAP) / Close × 100 (premium/discount to VWAP).
HTF: ▲ if HTF EMA20 > EMA50; ▼ if <; · if flat/off.
RS%: Symbol’s ROC% − Benchmark ROC% (positive = outperforming).
REV (reversal):
🟢 Eng/Pin = bullish engulfing or bullish pin detected,
🔴 Eng/Pin = bearish engulfing or bearish pin,
· = none.
SCORE (absolute shown as a number; sign shown via DIR and ACT):
Components:
base = MOM × 0.4
volBonus = VOL > 1.5 ? 20 : VOL × 13.33
htfBonus = use_mtf ? (HTF == DIR ? 30 : HTF == 0 ? 15 : 0) : 0
trendBonus = (STACK == DIR) ? 10 : 0
macdBonus = 0 (placeholder for future versions)
scoreRaw = base + volBonus + htfBonus + trendBonus + macdBonus
SCORE = DIR ≥ 0 ? scoreRaw : −scoreRaw
If Require Volume Confirmation and VOL ≤ 1.0 ⇒ SCORE = 0.
ACT:
🔥 if |SCORE| ≥ threshold
👀 if 50 < |SCORE| < threshold
⏳ otherwise
Practical examples
Strong long (trend + participation)
DIR = ↑, ROC% = +3.2, MOM ≈ 32, VOL = 1.9, STACK = Bull, HTF = ▲, REV = 🟢
SCORE: base(12.8) + volBonus(20) + htfBonus(30) + trend(10) ≈ 73 → ACT = 🔥
Action idea: look for longs on pullbacks; confirm risk with ATR%.
Weak long (no volume)
DIR = ↑, ROC% = +1.0, but VOL = 0.8 and Require Volume Confirmation = ON
SCORE forced to 0 → ACT = ⏳
Action: wait for volume > 1.0 or turn off confirmation knowingly.
Bearish reversal warning
DIR = →, REV = 🔴 (bearish engulfing), RSI = 68, HTF = ▼
SCORE may be mid-range; ACT = 👀
Action: watch for breakdown and rising VOL.
Alerts (how to use)
The script calls alert() whenever |SCORE| ≥ Action threshold.
To receive pop-ups, sounds, or emails: click “⏰ Alerts” in TradingView, choose this indicator, and pick “Any alert() function call.”
The alert message includes: symbol, |SCORE|, DIR.
Layout, Size, and Corner tips
Row is best when you want a compact status ribbon across the top.
Grid is clearer on big screens or when you enable many columns.
Size:
Mobile = one pair per row (tall, readable)
Micro/Small = dense; good for many fields
Large = presentation/screenshots
Corner: If the table overlaps price, change the corner or set Opaque Background = OFF.
Repaint & timeframe behavior
Default smart update prefers stability (last bar / live / confirmed history).
For a stricter, “close-only” behavior (less repaint): turn Update Every Bar = OFF and avoid Heikin Ashi when you want raw market OHLC (HA modifies price inputs).
HTF logic is derived from a clean, integer multiple of your chart timeframe (via multiplier). It works with 3H/4H and any TF.
Performance notes
The script analyzes one symbol (chart or override) with multiple metrics using efficient tuple requests.
If you later want a multi-symbol grid, do it with pages (10–15 per page + rotate) to stay within platform limits (recommended future add-on).
Troubleshooting
No table visible
Ensure the indicator is added and not hidden.
Try toggling Opaque Background or switch Corner (it might be behind other drawings).
Keep Columns count reasonable for the chosen Size.
If you turned ON Override, verify the Custom symbol exists on your data provider.
Numbers look different on HA candles
Heikin Ashi modifies OHLC; switch to regular candles if you need raw price metrics.
3H/4H issues
Use integer HTF Multiplier (e.g., 2, 4). The tool builds the correct string internally; no manual timeframe strings needed.
Power user tips
Volume gating: keeping Require Volume Confirmation = ON filters most fake moves; if you’re a scalper, reduce strictness or turn it off.
Action threshold: 60–80 is typical. Higher = fewer but stronger signals.
Benchmark RS%: great for spotting leaders/laggards; positive RS% = outperformance vs benchmark.
Change policy & safety
This version doesn’t alter your historical logic you tested (no radical changes).
Any future “radical” change (score weights, HTF logic, UI hiding data) will ship with a toggle and an Impact Statement so you can keep old behavior if you prefer.
Glossary (quick)
ROC%: Percent change over N bars.
MOM: Scaled momentum (0–100).
VOL ratio: Volume vs 20-bar average.
ATR%: ATR as % of price.
ADX/DI: Trend strength / direction components (Wilder).
EMA stack: Relationship between EMAs (bullish/bearish/flat).
VWAP%: Premium/discount to VWAP.
RS%: Relative strength vs benchmark.

Key Indicators Dashboard (KID)Key Indicators Dashboard (KID) — Comprehensive Market & Trend Metrics
📌 Overview
The Key Indicators Dashboard (KID) is an advanced multi-metric market analysis tool designed to consolidate essential technical, volatility, and relative performance data into a single on-chart table. Instead of switching between multiple indicators, KID centralizes these key measures, making it easier to assess a stock’s technical health, volatility state, trend status, and relative strength at a glance.
🛠 Key Features
⦿ Average Daily Range (ADR %): Measures average daily price movement over a specified period. It is calculated by averaging the daily price range (high - low) over a set number of days (default 20 days).
⦿ Average True Range (ATR): Measures volatility by calculating the average of a true range over a specific period (default 14). It helps traders gauge the typical extent of price movement, regardless of the direction.
⦿ ATR%: Expresses the Average True Range as a percentage of the price, which allows traders to compare the volatility of stocks with different prices.
⦿ Relative Strength (RS): Compares a stock’s performance to a chosen benchmark index (default NIFTYMIDSML400) over a specific period (default 50 days).
⦿ RS Score (IBD-style): A normalized 1–100 rating inspired by Investor’s Business Daily methodology.
How it works: The RS Score is based on a weighted average of price changes over 3 months (40%), 6 months (20%), 9 months (20%), and 12 months (20%).
The raw value is converted into a percentage return, then normalized over the past 252 trading days so the lowest value maps to 1 and the highest to 100.
This produces a percentile-style score that highlights the strongest stocks in relative terms.
⦿ Relative Volume (RVol): Compares a stock's current volume to its average volume over a specific period (default 50). It is calculated by dividing the current volume by the average historical volume.
⦿ Average ₹ Volume (Turnover): Represents the total monetary value of shares traded for a stock. It's calculated by multiplying a day's closing price by its volume, with the final value converted to crores for clarity. This metric is a key indicator of a stock's liquidity and overall market interest.
⦿ Moving Average Extension: Measures how far a stock's current price has moved from from a selected moving average (EMA or SMA). This deviation is normalized by the stock's volatility (ATR%), with a default threshold of 6 ATR used to indicate that the stock is significantly extended and is marked with a selected shape (default Red Flag).
⦿ 52-Weeks High & Low: Measures a stock's current price in relation to its highest and lowest prices over the past year. It calculates the percentage a stock is below its 52-week high and above its 52-week low.
⦿ Market Capitalization: Market Cap represents the total value of all outstanding.
⦿ Free Float: It is the value of shares readily available for public trading, with the Free Float Percentage showing the proportion of shares available to the public.
⦿ Trend: Uses Supertrend indicator to identify the current trend of a stock's price. A factor (default 3) and an ATR period (default 10) is used to signal whether the trend is up or down.
⦿ Minervini Trend Template (MTT): It is a set of technical criteria designed to identify stocks in strong uptrends.
Price > 50-DMA > 150-DMA > 200-DMA
200-DMA is trending up for at least 1 month
Price is at least 30% above its 52-week low.
Price is within at least 25 percent of its 52-week high
Table highlights when a stock meets all above criteria.
⦿ Sector & Industry: Display stock's sector and industry, provides categorical classification to assist sector-based analysis. The sector is a broad economic classification, while the industry is a more specific group within that sector.
⦿ Moving Averages (MAs): Plot up to four customizable Moving Averages on a chart. You can independently set the type (Simple or Exponential), the source price, and the length for each MA to help visualize a stock's underlying trend.
MA1: Default 10-EMA
MA2: Default 20-EMA
MA3: Default 50-EMA
MA4: Default 200-EMA
⦿ Moving Average (MA) Crossover: It is a trend signal that occurs when a shorter-term moving average crosses a longer-term one. This script identifies these crossover events and plots a marker on the chart to visually signal a potential change in trend direction.
User-configurable MAs (short and long).
A bullish crossover occurs when the short MA crosses above the long MA.
A bearish crossover occurs when the short MA crosses below the long MA.
⦿ Inside Bar (IB): An Inside Bar is a candlestick whose entire price range is contained within the range of the previous bar. This script identifies this pattern, which often signals consolidation, and visually marks bullish and bearish inside bars on the chart with distinct colors and labels.
⦿ Tightness: Identifies periods of low volatility and price consolidation. It compares the price range over a short lookback period (default 3) to the average daily range (ADR). When the lookback range is smaller than the ADR, the indicator plots a marker on the chart to signal consolidation.
⦿ PowerBar (Purple Dot): Identifies candles with a strong price move on high volume. By default, it plots a purple dot when a stock moves up or down by at least 5% and has a minimum volume of 500,000. More dots indicate higher volatility and liquidity.
⦿ Squeezing Range (SQ): Identifies periods of low volatility, which can often precede a significant price move. It checks if the Bollinger Bands have narrowed to a range that is smaller than the Average True Range (ATR) for a set number of consecutive bars (default 3).
(UpperBB - LowerBB) < (ATR × 2)
⦿ Mark 52-Weeks High and Low: Marks and labels a stock's 52-Week High and Low prices directly on the chart. It draws two horizontal lines extending from the candles where the highest and lowest prices occurred over the past year, providing a clear visual reference for long-term price extremes.
⏳PineScreener Filters
The indicator’s alert conditions act as filters for PineScreener.
Price Filter: Minimum and maximum price cutoffs (default ₹25 - ₹10000).
Daily Price Change Filter: Minimum and maximum daily percent change (default -5% and 5%).
🔔 Built-in Alerts
Supports alert creation for:
ADR%, ATR/ATR %, RS, RS Rating, Turnover

GRJMOM - Risk-Adjusted MomentumGRJMOM – Risk-Adjusted Momentum
GRJMOM stands for Generalized Risk-Adjusted Momentum. This indicator adjusts traditional momentum by dividing it by realized volatility over the same formation period. The result is a cleaner, more risk-sensitive momentum signal designed to avoid momentum crashes and volatility-driven false breakouts.
How it works:
Calculates raw momentum: Close - Close
Computes realized volatility using standard deviation of log returns
Outputs a risk-adjusted momentum score (Momentum / Volatility)
Optional smoothing can be applied to reduce short-term noise
Background coloring highlights bullish (green) and bearish (red) regimes
Use Cases:
GRJMOM > 0 suggests a bullish risk-adjusted trend
GRJMOM < 0 indicates a weakening or bearish trend
Can be used as a trend confirmation filter
Pairs well with cycle indicators like HHT or FFT for timing
Best for:
Swing traders, trend followers, and systematic strategy builders looking for smarter momentum signals with built-in risk awareness
Daily Manipulation Probability Dashboard📜 Summary
Tired of getting stopped out on a "Judas Swing" just before the price moves in your intended direction? This indicator is designed to give you a statistical edge by quantifying the daily manipulation move.
The Daily Manipulation Probability Dashboard analyzes thousands of historical trading days to reveal the probability of the initial "stop-hunt" or "fakeout" move reaching certain percentage levels. It presents this data in a clean, intuitive dashboard right on your chart, helping you make more data-driven decisions about stop-loss placement and entry timing.
🧠 The Core Concept
The logic is simple but powerful. For every trading day, we measure two things:
Amplitude Above Open (AAO): The distance price travels up from the daily open (High - Open).
Amplitude Below Open (ABO): The distance price travels down from the daily open (Open - Low).
The indicator defines the "Manipulation" as the smaller of these two moves. The idea is that this smaller move often acts as a liquidity grab to trap traders before the day's primary, larger move ("Distribution") begins.
This tool focuses exclusively on providing deep statistical insight into this crucial manipulation phase.
🛠️ How to Use This Tool
This dashboard is designed to be a practical part of your daily analysis and trade planning.
1. Smarter Stop-Loss Placement
This is the primary use case. The "Prob. (%)" column tells you the historical chance of the manipulation move being at least a certain size.
Example: If the table shows that for EURUSD, the ≥ 0.25% level has a probability of 30%, you can flip this information: there is a 70% probability that the daily manipulation move will be less than 0.25%.
Action: Placing your stop-loss just beyond a level with a low probability gives you a statistically sound buffer against typical stop-hunts.
2. Entry Timing and Patience
The live arrow (→) shows you where the current day's manipulation falls.
Example: If the arrow is pointing at ≥ 0.10% and you know there is a high probability (e.g., 60%) of the manipulation reaching ≥ 0.20%, you might wait for a deeper pullback before entering, anticipating that the "Judas Swing" hasn't completed yet.
3. Assessing Daily Character
Quickly see if the current day's action is unusual. If the manipulation move is already in a very low probability zone (e.g., > 1.00%), it might indicate that your Bias is wrong, or signal a high-volatility day or a potential trend reversal.
📊 Understanding the Dashboard
Ticker: The top-right shows the current symbol you are analyzing.
→ (Arrow): Points to the row that corresponds to the current, live day's manipulation amplitude.
Manip. Level: The percentage threshold being analyzed (e.g., ≥ 0.20%).
Days Analyzed: The raw count of historical days where the manipulation move met or exceeded this level.
Prob. (%): The key statistic. The cumulative probability of the manipulation move being at least the size of the level.
⚙️ Settings
Position: Choose where you want the dashboard to appear on your chart.
Text Size: Adjust the font size for readability.
Max Historical Days to Analyze: Set the number of past daily candles to include in the statistical analysis. A larger number provides a more robust sample size.
I believe this tool provides a unique, data-driven edge for intraday traders across all markets (Forex, Crypto, Stocks, Indices). Your feedback and suggestions are highly welcome!

Dark Pool Block Trades - Institutional Volume📊 Dark Pool Block Trades - Institutional Volume
Visualize where institutional money positions before major price moves occur. This indicator reveals hidden dark pool block trades that often precede significant price movements - because when smart money deploys millions and billions in strategic accumulation or distribution, retail traders need to see where it's happening.
🎯 WHY DARK POOL DATA MATTERS:
Institutions don't move large capital randomly. Dark pool block trades represent strategic positioning by sophisticated money managers with superior research and conviction. These trades create hidden support/resistance levels that often predict future price action.
The key principle: Follow institutional flow, don't fight it. When institutions get involved, they create high-probability trading opportunities.
💰 HOW INSTITUTIONS INFLUENCE PRICE:
- Large block trades establish hidden accumulation/distribution zones
- Smart money builds positions BEFORE retail awareness increases
- Institutional activity creates "footprints" at key technical levels
- These trades often signal conviction plays ahead of major moves
- Institutions typically add to winning positions throughout trends
🔍 WHAT THIS INDICATOR SHOWS:
- Visual overlay of dark pool block trades directly on price charts
- Track institutional positioning across major stocks and ETFs
- Identify accumulation/distribution zones before they become obvious to retail
- Spot high-conviction institutional trades in real-time visualization
- Customizable block trade size filters and timeframe selection
- Historical institutional activity up to 5 years or custom ranges
💡 THE TRADING ADVANTAGE:
Instead of guessing price direction, see where institutions are already positioning. When large block trades appear in dark pools, you're witnessing strategic institutional commitment that frequently leads to significant price movements.
⚡ HOW IT WORKS:
This Pine Script displays institutional dark pool transactions as visual markers on your charts. The script comes with sample data for immediate use. For expanded ticker coverage and real-time updates, external data services are available.
🎯 IDEAL FOR:
- Swing traders following institutional footprints
- Traders seeking setups backed by smart money conviction
- Position traders looking for accumulation zones
- Anyone wanting to align with institutional flow rather than fight it
🔄 SAMPLE DATA INCLUDED:
Pre-loaded with institutional activity data across popular tickers, updated daily to demonstrate how dark pool activity correlates with future price movements.
The script initially covers these tickers going back 6 months showing the top 10 trades by volume over 400,000 shares: AAPL, AMD, AMZN, ARKK, ARKW, BAC, BITO, COIN, COST, DIA, ETHA, GLD, GOOGL, HD, HYG, IBB, IWM, JNJ, JPM, LQD, MA, META, MSFT, NVDA, PG, QQQ, RIOT, SLV, SMCI, SMH, SOXX, SPY, TLT, TSLA, UNH, USO, V, VEA, VNQ, VOO, VTI, VWO, WMT, XLE, XLF, XLK, XLU, XLV, XLY
Multi-Timeframe SFP + SMTImportant: Please Read First
This indicator is not a "one size fits all" solution. It is a professional and complex tool that requires you to learn how to use it, in addition to backtesting different settings to discover what works best for your specific trading style and the assets you trade. The default settings provided are my personal preferences for trading higher-timeframe setups, but you are encouraged to experiment and find your own optimal configuration.
Please note that while this initial version is solid, it may still contain small errors or bugs. I will be actively working on improving the indicator over time. Also, be aware that the script is not written for maximum efficiency and may be resource-intensive, but this should not pose a problem for most users.
The source code for this indicator is open. If you truly want to understand precisely how all the logic works, you can copy and paste the code into an AI assistant like Gemini or ChatGPT and ask it to explain any part of the script to you.
Author's Preferred Settings (Guideline)
As a starting point, here are the settings I personally use for my trading:
SFP Timeframe: 4-Hour (Strength: 5-5)
Max Lookback: 35 Bars
Raid Expiration: 1 Bar
SFP Lines Limit: 1
SMT Timeframe 1: 30-Minute (Strength: 2-2) with 3-Minute LTF Detection.
SMT Timeframe 2: 15-Minute (Strength: 3-3) with 3-Minute LTF Detection.
SMT Timeframe 3: 1-Hour (Strength: 1-1) with 3-Minute LTF Detection.
SMT Timeframe 4: 15-Minute (Strength: 1-1) with 3-Minute LTF Detection.
Multi-Timeframe SMT: An Overview
This indicator is a powerful tool designed to identify high-probability trading setups by combining two key institutional concepts: Swing Failure Patterns (SFP) on a higher timeframe and Smart Money Technique (SMT) divergences on a lower timeframe. A key feature is the ability to configure and run up to four independent SMT analyses simultaneously, allowing you to monitor for divergences across multiple timeframes (e.g., 15m, 1H, 4H) from a single indicator.
Its primary purpose is to generate automated signals through TradingView's alert system. By setting up alerts, the script runs server-side, monitoring the market for you. When a setup presents itself, it will send a push notification to your device, allowing you to personally evaluate the trade without being tied to your screen.
The Strategy: HTF Liquidity Sweeps into LTF SMT
The core strategy is built on a classic institutional trading model:
Wait for a liquidity sweep on a significant high timeframe (e.g., 4-hour, Daily).
Once liquidity is taken, look for a confirmation of a shift in market structure on a lower timeframe.
This indicator uses an SMT divergence as that confirmation signal, indicating that smart money may be stepping in to reverse the price.
How It Works: The Two-Step Process
The indicator's logic follows a precise two-step process to generate a signal:
Step 1: The Swing Failure Pattern (SFP)
First, the indicator identifies a high-timeframe liquidity sweep. This is configured in the "Swing Failure Pattern (SFP) Timeframe" settings.
It looks for a candle that wicks above a previous high (or below a previous low) but then closes back within the range of that pivot. This action is known as a "raid" or a "swing failure," suggesting the move failed to find genuine momentum.
Step 2: The SMT Divergence
The moment a valid SFP is confirmed, the indicator's multiple SMT engines activate.
Each engine begins monitoring the specific SMT timeframe you have configured (e.g., "SMT Timeframe 1," "SMT Timeframe 2," etc.) for a Smart Money Technique (SMT) divergence.
An SMT divergence occurs when two closely correlated assets fail to move in sync. For example, after a raid on a high, Asset A makes a new high, but Asset B fails to do so. This disagreement suggests weakness and a potential reversal.
When the script finds this divergence, it plots the SMT line and triggers an alert.
The Power of Alerts
The true strength of this indicator lies in its alert capabilities. You can create alerts for both unconfirmed and confirmed SMTs.
Enable Alerts LTF Detection: These alerts trigger when an unconfirmed, potential SMT is spotted on the lower "LTF Detection" timeframe. While not yet confirmed, these early alerts can notify you of a potential move before it fully happens, allowing you to be ahead of the curve and find the best possible trade entries.
Enable Alerts Confirmed SMT: These alerts trigger only when a permanent, confirmed SMT line is plotted on your chosen SMT timeframe. These signals are more reliable but occur later than the early detection alerts.
Key Concepts Explained
What is Pivot Strength?
Pivot Strength determines how significant a high or low needs to be to qualify as a valid structural point. A setting of 5-5, for example, means that for a candle's high to be considered a valid pivot high, its high must be higher than the highs of the 5 candles to its left and the 5 candles to its right.
Higher Strength (e.g., 5-5, 8-8): Creates fewer, but more significant, pivots. This is ideal for identifying major structural highs and lows on higher timeframes.
Lower Strength (e.g., 2-2, 3-3): Creates more pivots, making it suitable for identifying the smaller shifts in momentum on lower timeframes.
Raid Expiration & Validity
An SFP signal is not valid forever. The "Raid Expiration" setting determines how many SFP timeframe bars can pass after a raid before that signal is considered "stale" and can no longer be used to validate an SMT. This ensures your SMT divergences are always in response to recent liquidity sweeps.
Why You Must Be on the Right Chart Timeframe to See SMT Lines
Pine Script™ has a fundamental rule: an indicator running on a chart can only "see" the bars of that chart's timeframe or higher.
When the SMT logic is set to the 15-minute timeframe, it calculates its pivots based on 15-minute data. To accurately plot lines connecting these pivots, you must be on a 15-minute chart or lower (e.g., 5-minute, 1-minute).
If you are on a higher timeframe chart, like the 1-hour, the 15-minute bars do not exist on that chart, so the indicator has no bars to draw the lines on.
This is precisely why the alert system is so powerful. You can set your alert to run on the 15-minute timeframe, and TradingView's servers will monitor that timeframe for you, sending a notification regardless of what chart you are currently viewing.
Game Theory Trading StrategyGame Theory Trading Strategy: Explanation and Working Logic
This Pine Script (version 5) code implements a trading strategy named "Game Theory Trading Strategy" in TradingView. Unlike the previous indicator, this is a full-fledged strategy with automated entry/exit rules, risk management, and backtesting capabilities. It uses Game Theory principles to analyze market behavior, focusing on herd behavior, institutional flows, liquidity traps, and Nash equilibrium to generate buy (long) and sell (short) signals. Below, I'll explain the strategy's purpose, working logic, key components, and usage tips in detail.
1. General Description
Purpose: The strategy identifies high-probability trading opportunities by combining Game Theory concepts (herd behavior, contrarian signals, Nash equilibrium) with technical analysis (RSI, volume, momentum). It aims to exploit market inefficiencies caused by retail herd behavior, institutional flows, and liquidity traps. The strategy is designed for automated trading with defined risk management (stop-loss/take-profit) and position sizing based on market conditions.
Key Features:
Herd Behavior Detection: Identifies retail panic buying/selling using RSI and volume spikes.
Liquidity Traps: Detects stop-loss hunting zones where price breaks recent highs/lows but reverses.
Institutional Flow Analysis: Tracks high-volume institutional activity via Accumulation/Distribution and volume spikes.
Nash Equilibrium: Uses statistical price bands to assess whether the market is in equilibrium or deviated (overbought/oversold).
Risk Management: Configurable stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) percentages, dynamic position sizing based on Game Theory (minimax principle).
Visualization: Displays Nash bands, signals, background colors, and two tables (Game Theory status and backtest results).
Backtesting: Tracks performance metrics like win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, and Sharpe ratio.
Strategy Settings:
Initial capital: $10,000.
Pyramiding: Up to 3 positions.
Position size: 10% of equity (default_qty_value=10).
Configurable inputs for RSI, volume, liquidity, institutional flow, Nash equilibrium, and risk management.
Warning: This is a strategy, not just an indicator. It executes trades automatically in TradingView's Strategy Tester. Always backtest thoroughly and use proper risk management before live trading.
2. Working Logic (Step by Step)
The strategy processes each bar (candle) to generate signals, manage positions, and update performance metrics. Here's how it works:
a. Input Parameters
The inputs are grouped for clarity:
Herd Behavior (🐑):
RSI Period (14): For overbought/oversold detection.
Volume MA Period (20): To calculate average volume for spike detection.
Herd Threshold (2.0): Volume multiplier for detecting herd activity.
Liquidity Analysis (💧):
Liquidity Lookback (50): Bars to check for recent highs/lows.
Liquidity Sensitivity (1.5): Volume multiplier for trap detection.
Institutional Flow (🏦):
Institutional Volume Multiplier (2.5): For detecting large volume spikes.
Institutional MA Period (21): For Accumulation/Distribution smoothing.
Nash Equilibrium (⚖️):
Nash Period (100): For calculating price mean and standard deviation.
Nash Deviation (0.02): Multiplier for equilibrium bands.
Risk Management (🛡️):
Use Stop-Loss (true): Enables SL at 2% below/above entry price.
Use Take-Profit (true): Enables TP at 5% above/below entry price.
b. Herd Behavior Detection
RSI (14): Checks for extreme conditions:
Overbought: RSI > 70 (potential herd buying).
Oversold: RSI < 30 (potential herd selling).
Volume Spike: Volume > SMA(20) x 2.0 (herd_threshold).
Momentum: Price change over 10 bars (close - close ) compared to its SMA(20).
Herd Signals:
Herd Buying: RSI > 70 + volume spike + positive momentum = Retail buying frenzy (red background).
Herd Selling: RSI < 30 + volume spike + negative momentum = Retail selling panic (green background).
c. Liquidity Trap Detection
Recent Highs/Lows: Calculated over 50 bars (liquidity_lookback).
Psychological Levels: Nearest round numbers (e.g., $100, $110) as potential stop-loss zones.
Trap Conditions:
Up Trap: Price breaks recent high, closes below it, with a volume spike (volume > SMA x 1.5).
Down Trap: Price breaks recent low, closes above it, with a volume spike.
Visualization: Traps are marked with small red/green crosses above/below bars.
d. Institutional Flow Analysis
Volume Check: Volume > SMA(20) x 2.5 (inst_volume_mult) = Institutional activity.
Accumulation/Distribution (AD):
Formula: ((close - low) - (high - close)) / (high - low) * volume, cumulated over time.
Smoothed with SMA(21) (inst_ma_length).
Accumulation: AD > MA + high volume = Institutions buying.
Distribution: AD < MA + high volume = Institutions selling.
Smart Money Index: (close - open) / (high - low) * volume, smoothed with SMA(20). Positive = Smart money buying.
e. Nash Equilibrium
Calculation:
Price mean: SMA(100) (nash_period).
Standard deviation: stdev(100).
Upper Nash: Mean + StdDev x 0.02 (nash_deviation).
Lower Nash: Mean - StdDev x 0.02.
Conditions:
Near Equilibrium: Price between upper and lower Nash bands (stable market).
Above Nash: Price > upper band (overbought, sell potential).
Below Nash: Price < lower band (oversold, buy potential).
Visualization: Orange line (mean), red/green lines (upper/lower bands).
f. Game Theory Signals
The strategy generates three types of signals, combined into long/short triggers:
Contrarian Signals:
Buy: Herd selling + (accumulation or down trap) = Go against retail panic.
Sell: Herd buying + (distribution or up trap).
Momentum Signals:
Buy: Below Nash + positive smart money + no herd buying.
Sell: Above Nash + negative smart money + no herd selling.
Nash Reversion Signals:
Buy: Below Nash + rising close (close > close ) + volume > MA.
Sell: Above Nash + falling close + volume > MA.
Final Signals:
Long Signal: Contrarian buy OR momentum buy OR Nash reversion buy.
Short Signal: Contrarian sell OR momentum sell OR Nash reversion sell.
g. Position Management
Position Sizing (Minimax Principle):
Default: 1.0 (10% of equity).
In Nash equilibrium: Reduced to 0.5 (conservative).
During institutional volume: Increased to 1.5 (aggressive).
Entries:
Long: If long_signal is true and no existing long position (strategy.position_size <= 0).
Short: If short_signal is true and no existing short position (strategy.position_size >= 0).
Exits:
Stop-Loss: If use_sl=true, set at 2% below/above entry price.
Take-Profit: If use_tp=true, set at 5% above/below entry price.
Pyramiding: Up to 3 concurrent positions allowed.
h. Visualization

j. Alerts
No explicit alertconditions defined, but you can add them for long_signal and short_signal (e.g., alertcondition(long_signal, "GT Long Entry", "Long Signal Detected!")).
Use TradingView's alert system with Strategy Tester outputs.
3. Usage Tips
Timeframe: Best for H1-D1 timeframes. Shorter frames (M1-M15) may produce noisy signals.
Settings:
Risk Management: Adjust sl_percent (e.g., 1% for volatile markets) and tp_percent (e.g., 3% for scalping).
Herd Threshold: Increase to 2.5 for stricter herd detection in choppy markets.
Liquidity Lookback: Reduce to 20 for faster markets (e.g., crypto).
Nash Period: Increase to 200 for longer-term analysis.
Backtesting:
Use TradingView's Strategy Tester to evaluate performance.
Check win rate (>50%), profit factor (>1.5), and max drawdown (<20%) for viability.
Test on different assets/timeframes to ensure robustness.
Live Trading:
Start with a demo account.
Combine with other indicators (e.g., EMAs, support/resistance) for confirmation.
Monitor liquidity traps and institutional flow for context.
Risk Management:
Always use SL/TP to limit losses.
Adjust position_size for risk tolerance (e.g., 5% of equity for conservative trading).
Avoid over-leveraging (pyramiding=3 can amplify risk).
Troubleshooting:
If no trades are executed, check signal conditions (e.g., lower herd_threshold or liquidity_sensitivity).
Ensure sufficient historical data for Nash and liquidity calculations.
If tables overlap, adjust position.top_right/bottom_right coordinates.
4. Key Differences from the Previous Indicator
Indicator vs. Strategy: The previous code was an indicator (VP + Game Theory Integrated Strategy) focused on visualization and alerts. This is a strategy with automated entries/exits and backtesting.
Volume Profile: Absent in this strategy, making it lighter but less focused on high-volume zones.
Wick Analysis: Not included here, unlike the previous indicator's heavy reliance on wick patterns.
Backtesting: This strategy includes detailed performance metrics and a backtest table, absent in the indicator.
Simpler Signals: Focuses on Game Theory signals (contrarian, momentum, Nash reversion) without the "Power/Ultra Power" hierarchy.
Risk Management: Explicit SL/TP and dynamic position sizing, not present in the indicator.
5. Conclusion
The "Game Theory Trading Strategy" is a sophisticated system leveraging herd behavior, institutional flows, liquidity traps, and Nash equilibrium to trade market inefficiencies. It’s designed for traders who understand Game Theory principles and want automated execution with robust risk management. However, it requires thorough backtesting and parameter optimization for specific markets (e.g., forex, crypto, stocks). The backtest table and visual aids make it easy to monitor performance, but always combine with other analysis tools and proper capital management.
