Large Candle Marker (Threshold in Cents)This indicator, Large Candle Marker, identifies and marks candles that exceed a specified size threshold. The size can be based on either the candle's body (difference between open and close) or the total range (difference between high and low). The threshold is entered in cents for easy configuration, and the indicator highlights these significant candles directly on the chart with a orange flag. It's perfect for spotting momentum or volatility in price movements. I use it to not enter trades after a large candle.
// INSTRUCTIONS:
// 1. Input the desired candle size threshold in cents in the settings menu.
// - For example, enter "30" for 30 cents or "50" for 50 cents.
// 2. Choose the size type:
// - Select "True" to use the candle body size (difference between open and close).
// - Select "False" to use the total range size (difference between high and low).
// 3. The script will mark candles exceeding the threshold with a red marker above the candle.
// 4. Apply this indicator to any chart to identify significant candles based on the threshold.

Master Candle Breakout V1 Master Candle Breakout V1 - Indicator Description
The Master Candle Breakout V1 indicator is a powerful price action-based tool designed to help traders identify and capitalize on breakout opportunities from consolidation phases. This indicator is particularly useful for identifying master candles, which are large candles that encompass the range of subsequent candles, creating a key level of support or resistance. Once the price breaks above or below the range of the master candle, the indicator provides clear buy or sell signals, allowing traders to ride the momentum of the breakout.
Key Features:
Master Candle Detection: The indicator identifies master candles based on a user-defined period, marking them on the chart as critical breakout points.
Buy and Sell Signals: When the price breaks above the master candle's high, a buy signal is plotted. Similarly, when the price breaks below the master candle's low, a sell signal is generated. These signals are displayed on the chart with customizable shapes (diamonds, arrows, circles, crosses) and colors for easy visualization.
Stop-Loss Level Display: For risk management, the indicator calculates and plots a stop-loss level based on user-defined ticks above or below the master candle's high or low. The stop-loss value is shown as a label next to the signal, helping traders manage risk effectively.
Customizable Colors and Shapes: Users can fully customize the appearance of the signals, including the color of the buy/sell diamonds, the stop-loss label text color, and the type of shape used for the signals.
Versatile Application: The Master Candle Breakout V1 can be applied to any timeframe and market, from forex and stocks to commodities and cryptocurrencies, making it a highly versatile tool for traders of all types.
How to Use:
Master Candle Period: Define how many candles should follow the master candle for confirmation.
Stop Loss Ticks: Set the number of ticks above or below the master candle to define your stop-loss level.
Entry Signals: Once the price closes outside the high or low of the master candle, enter the trade accordingly (buy on breakouts above the high, sell on breakouts below the low).
Risk Management: Use the stop-loss level provided by the indicator to minimize losses and protect your capital.
This indicator is perfect for traders who prefer a simple, price-action-based strategy and want to avoid the clutter of traditional indicators. By focusing on the core principle of breakouts, Master Candle Breakout V1 helps traders quickly identify consolidation zones and potential breakout trades.
Bullish On Neck Candlestick patternExplanation:
1. Bullish Large Candle: The first candle is defined as bullish, where the closing price is much higher than the opening price. It also needs to have a large body (at least 60% of the total candle height).
2. Small Bearish Candle: The second candle is bearish and closes near the high of the previous bullish candle, with a relatively small body.
3. Bullish On Neck Detection: The script looks for this pattern where the bullish large candle is followed by a smaller bearish candle that closes near the first candle's high, indicating potential for a bullish breakout.
4. Plot: When the pattern is detected, the script places a green triangle above the bar to signal the bullish on neck pattern.
Candlestick Reversal SignalsTitle: Candlestick Reversal Signals
This Pine Script indicator is designed to identify and plot signals for two key candlestick reversal patterns: Bullish and Bearish Engulfing patterns, as well as Bullish and Bearish Harami patterns. These patterns are widely recognized for their ability to indicate potential trend reversals in the market, providing traders with valuable insights for making informed trading decisions.
Features:
• Bullish Engulfing Pattern:
• Conditions: This pattern is identified when the current candle’s close is higher than the previous candle’s open, and the current candle’s open is lower than the previous candle’s close. Additionally, the current candle’s close must be higher than the previous candle’s close, and the current candle’s open must be lower than the previous candle’s open.
• Signal: When a Bullish Engulfing pattern is detected, a green label is plotted below the relevant bar, indicating a potential upward reversal.
• Bearish Engulfing Pattern:
• Conditions: This pattern is identified when the current candle’s close is lower than the previous candle’s open, and the current candle’s open is higher than the previous candle’s close. Additionally, the current candle’s close must be lower than the previous candle’s close, and the current candle’s open must be higher than the previous candle’s open.
• Signal: When a Bearish Engulfing pattern is detected, a red label is plotted above the relevant bar, indicating a potential downward reversal.
• Bullish Harami Pattern:
• Conditions: This pattern is identified when the previous candle is a bearish candle (open higher than close), and the current candle is a bullish candle (close higher than open) that is contained within the body of the previous bearish candle.
• Signal: When a Bullish Harami pattern is detected, a green label is plotted below the relevant bar, indicating a potential upward reversal.
• Bearish Harami Pattern:
• Conditions: This pattern is identified when the previous candle is a bullish candle (open lower than close), and the current candle is a bearish candle (close lower than open) that is contained within the body of the previous bullish candle.
• Signal: When a Bearish Harami pattern is detected, a red label is plotted above the relevant bar, indicating a potential downward reversal.
Usage:
To use this script, simply add it to your TradingView chart. The script will automatically highlight the Bullish and Bearish Engulfing patterns, as well as Bullish and Bearish Harami patterns, by plotting green and red labels on the chart. These visual signals make it easy to spot potential reversal points, helping traders to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
Example:
• When you see a green “Bullish Engulfing” label below a candlestick, it suggests that the market might reverse upwards, signaling a potential buy opportunity.
• Conversely, a red “Bearish Engulfing” label above a candlestick suggests a potential downward reversal, signaling a potential sell opportunity.
• A green “Bullish Harami” label below a candlestick also indicates a potential upward reversal.
• A red “Bearish Harami” label above a candlestick indicates a potential downward reversal.
This indicator is a valuable addition to any trader’s technical analysis toolkit, providing clear and actionable signals based on well-established candlestick patterns. By incorporating these reversal patterns into your analysis, you can enhance your trading strategy and improve your decision-making process.
Indecisive CandlesAn Indecisive Candle, often referred to as a Base Candle, is a pivotal element in technical analysis, particularly for identifying institutional supply and demand zones. These candles are characterized by their small bodies and long wicks, reflecting a balance between buyers and sellers, indicating a potential pause or consolidation in the market.
To calculate whether a candle qualifies as an indecisive candle based on the criterion that its body (the absolute difference between its open and close prices) is less than or equal to 50% of the total range of the candle (the difference between its high and low prices).
Key Features:
Small Real Body: Signifies minimal movement from open to close, indicating market indecision.
Long Upper and Lower Wicks: Show that both bulls and bears attempted to control the price, but neither succeeded, leading to a standoff.
Formation Context: Typically found at the end of a strong trend or within a consolidation phase, hinting at a potential reversal or continuation pattern.
Usage in Identifying Institutional Supply and Demand:
Supply Zones: When an Indecisive Candle forms after a rally, it can mark the onset of an institutional supply zone, suggesting that large entities are starting to sell, leading to potential downward pressure.
Demand Zones: Conversely, when this candle appears after a downtrend, it often signals the emergence of a demand zone, where institutions begin to accumulate, anticipating a price increase.
Trading Strategies:
Zone Identification: Use Indecisive Candles to pinpoint key supply and demand zones on your chart, enhancing the accuracy of your support and resistance levels.
Confirmation: Look for confirmation from subsequent price action or volume spikes to validate the presence of institutional activity before making trading decisions.
Risk Management: Place stop-loss orders beyond the wicks of these candles to protect against false breakouts or continued indecision.
Conclusion:
Indecisive Candles are essential tools for traders looking to understand market sentiment and institutional behavior. By mastering their identification and interpretation, you can enhance your ability to spot high-probability trading opportunities and manage risks effectively.

▋ Comments:
This table was developed for research and educational purposes.
Candlestick patterns are almost similar as seen in “*All Candlestick Patterns*” indicator.
The table results should not be taken as a major concept to build a trading decision.
Personally, I see candlestick patterns as a means to comprehend the psychology of the market, and help to follow the price action.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Market Relative Candle Ratio ComparatorIntroducing the Market Relative Candle Ratio Comparator, a visually captivating script that eases the way you compare two financial assets, such as cryptocurrencies and market indices. Leveraging a distinctive calculation method based on percentage changes and their averages, this tool presents a crystal-clear view of how your chosen assets perform in relation to each other, both for individual candles and over a range of previous candles.
Tailoring the script to your preferences is a walk in the park, as it allows you to easily adjust input symbols, moving average lengths, and other parameters to match your analytical approach. The visually arresting column chart it creates employs vivid red and green colors to underscore the differences between the two assets on each candle. Simultaneously, the lower-opacity columns depict the accumulated differences over a specified lookback period. This vibrant blend of colors and opacities results in a dynamic visual experience, enabling you to better grasp market trends relative to each other.
The reverse bool input is a handy feature that lets you invert the effect of the input symbol (DXY by default) in the comparison. When you set the reverse input to true, the script multiplies the calculated DXY percentage change by -1, effectively reversing the comparison. This is particularly useful when examining assets with an inverse relationship or when you'd like to analyze the input symbol's impact in the opposite direction.
For instance, if the input symbol represents a market index that generally moves in the opposite direction of the selected cryptocurrency, enabling the reverse input will help you better visualize and understand the relationship between the two assets by inverting the input symbol's effect on the comparison.
In the accompanying chart, you can observe the comparison of Bitcoin's movement relative to the Dollar, Gold, Bonds, and the S&P 500. The indicator reveals that in the last day, Bitcoin outperformed Bonds, Gold, and the Dollar but not the S&P 500!
Liquidity Engulfing Candles [upslidedown]Liquidity engulfing candles (LEC) are a variant of a common candlestick pattern: engulfing candles but with a couple extra conditions applied. These conditions expect highs/lows to be taken out in order to show a continuation or reversal signal.
Filter 1: Stop Hunt Wick Filter
This filter requires the candle to wick into the prior candles high or low ( bullish = wick below prior candle lows). This is the stop hunt.
Filter 2: Close Filter
This filter requires the candle to close above or below above the prior candle ( bullish = close above prior candle high). This is the confirmation.
This idea was introduced to me by @attrk632. Thanks, mate!
Price Action CandlesThis simple script provides a visual aid for price action traders by coloring outside & inside candles, which in effect leaves the trader with 6 possible candle colors:
-Regular bullish candle
-Outside bullish candle
-Inside bullish candle
-Regular bearish candle
-Outside bearish candle
-Inside bearish candle
These candlesticks may provide powerful signals when used in conjunction with key levels, market structure and chart patterns.
Make sure to disable the regular candlesticks (body, borders and wicks) in the symbol tab inside the configuration menu!
Hope it can help someone!
Better Heiken-Ashi Candles w/ Expanded Source Types [Loxx]Better Heiken-Ashi Candles w/ Expanded Source Types is an indicator to compare regular candles to traditional Heiken-Ashi candles to "better" Heiken Ashi candles. This indicator and comparison study appears an oscillator. The purpose of this indicator is to demonstrate a better way to calculate HA candles and also to demonstrate expanded source types. This indicator is meant to be used by advanced Pine Coders who wish to add fine-tuning to their indicators and strategies.
What are Heiken Ashi "better" candles?
The "better formula" was proposed in an article/memo by BNP-Paribas (In Warrants & Zertifikate, No. 8, August 2004 (a monthly German magazine published by BNP Paribas, Frankfurt), there is an article by Sebastian Schmidt about further development (smoothing) of Heikin-Ashi chart.)
They proposed to use the following :
(Open+Close)/2+(((Close-Open)/(High-Low))*ABS((Close-Open)/2))
instead of using :
haClose = (O+H+L+C)/4
According to that document the HA representation using their proposed formula is better than the traditional formula.
What are traditional Heiken-Ashi candles?
The Heikin-Ashi technique averages price data to create a Japanese candlestick chart that filters out market noise.
Heikin-Ashi charts, developed by Munehisa Homma in the 1700s, share some characteristics with standard candlestick charts but differ based on the values used to create each candle. Instead of using the open, high, low, and close like standard candlestick charts, the Heikin-Ashi technique uses a modified formula based on two-period averages. This gives the chart a smoother appearance, making it easier to spots trends and reversals, but also obscures gaps and some price data.
What's going on with this indicator?
- First, we have the options to select the candlestick type: Regular, HA, HA Better
- Next, and to demonstrate the expanded source types, I've added a simple moving average. In the drop down for the SMA source you'll notice something very different from the typical TradingView source selector. Here's how to decode the new names for the sources:
Close = close
Open = open
High = high
Low = low
Median = hl2
Typical = hlc3
Weighted = hlcc4
Average = ohlc4
Average Median Body = (open+close)/2
Trend Biased = (see code, too complex to explain here)
Trend Biased (extreme) = (see code, too complex to explain here)
... for HA and HA better, see the same set up as above but with different open and close values to calcualate the other source types
- For the HA better calculations, we run the close value through either an Adaptive, Kaufman, or T3 smoothing filter. The length for these smoothing filters, either 2 or 3, can be found in the code and is a constant value that shouldn't be changed. This smoothing is in inline with what is described in the article mentioned above
- Lastly, I've placed an SMA over the oscillator so that the user can test out the various sources explained above

Description
An experimental script, designed as a visual aid, to highlight the last up or down candle before a fractal break. We can assume these candles where the point of origin that generated enough strength to break recent structure. By using them as reference points, traders are expected to follow their own set of rules and mark higher probability supply and demand zones in the area.
How to use:
Expect a potential retest in these areas, and if they fail, a potential retest in the opposite direction. The greater the number of times a zone is tested, the more likely it is to break. A fresh zone that has not yet been tested will have a higher probability of a bounce.
Fractal period and candle break type can be personalised in settings. Can be used on all timeframes (higher the better).
Indicator in use:
Extras:
An option to flip candle colours if current price is above or below them has been added.
Hammer & Shooting Star Candle DetectorHi guys
This script will help you to find Hammer candles and also Shooting star candles.
These candle patterns indicate price reversal probability and should evaluate in bigger price context before using as a signal.
I hope you find it helpful and enjoy it.

Manipulation Candle (RIC) V0.2Interpretation and Trading Use
Boxed Candles: Represent 15-minute periods with unusually high range relative to daily volatility. These may signal:
Market manipulation (e.g., stop hunts or fakeouts).
Breakouts, reversals, or high-impact news.
Entry/exit points in strategies focusing on volatility expansion.
No Boxes: Indicates normal or low-volatility candles (range < threshold).
Multi-Timeframe Analysis: On lower timeframes (e.g., 5-min), boxes encompass multiple bars. On higher (e.g., 1-hour), they highlight specific 15-min segments.
Example: On a volatile stock like TSLA, a 0.2 multiplier might highlight candles during earnings releases, aiding in spotting trading opportunities.
Limitations and Considerations
Drawing Limits: TradingView caps drawing objects at ~500 per script. On long histories, older boxes may not load—zoom in or reduce chart bars.
Data Availability: Requires 15-minute and daily data; may not work on illiquid symbols or non-standard charts (e.g., Renko).
Real-Time Delays: Boxes appear only after 15-min closes; no intra-bar drawing.
No Alerts Built-In: Add custom alerts via TradingView's alert system (e.g., on condition changes).
Performance: Efficient, but on very low timeframes with long history, it may use more resources due to persistent boxes.
Customization: For extensions (e.g., labels, multiple timeframes), modify the code carefully in Pine Script® v6 to avoid errors.
Version History
V0.2: Added persistent historical boxes; refined new candle detection.
Future Updates: Potential additions like box limits or multi-multiplier support. Check for updates in the script comments.
If you encounter issues or need customizations, refer to TradingView's Pine Script® documentation or community forums. For error-free extensions in Pine Script® v6, ensure proper variable scoping, type declarations, and testing on historical data.

Multi-Candle Reversal ConfirmationMulti-Candle Reversal Confirmation (MCRC)
This indicator identifies potential price reversals using a 3-candle confirmation pattern. It filters out noise by requiring a significant prior trend before signaling, helping you catch turning points rather than getting trapped in choppy price action.
How It Works
The indicator uses a three-step process to confirm reversals:
Candle 1 (Rejection) - Detects a rejection candle after a sustained move. This includes hammer/shooting star patterns with long wicks, doji candles showing indecision, or stall candles with unusually small bodies.
Candle 2 (Reversal) - Confirms the candle closes in the opposite direction of the prior trend.
Candle 3 (Confirmation) - Validates the reversal by either continuing in the new direction or breaking the high/low of the previous candle.
Key Features
Requires a significant prior trend before looking for reversals (no signals in choppy, sideways markets)
Uses ATR to measure move significance, adapting to current volatility
Marks rejection candles with small circles for early awareness
Confirmed signals shown as triangles with Bull/Bear labels
Built-in alerts for all signal types
Settings
Wick to Body Ratio - How pronounced the rejection wick must be compared to the candle body (default: 2.0)
Doji Threshold - Maximum body size relative to total range to qualify as a doji (default: 0.1)
Trend Lookback - Number of candles to analyze for prior trend detection (default: 5)
Trend Strength - Percentage of lookback candles required in trend direction (default: 0.6 = 60%)
Minimum Move (ATR multiple) - How large the prior move must be before signaling (default: 1.5)
Show Bullish/Bearish - Toggle each signal type on or off
Visual Signals

Reversal Candlestick Setups (Doji, Outside, Extreme, Wick)Reversal Candlestick Setups – Doji, Outside, Extreme & Wick
This indicator identifies four high-probability reversal candlestick patterns across all timeframes: Doji Reversals, Outside Reversals, Extreme Reversals, and Wick Reversals. Each setup is based on clearly defined quantitative rules, allowing traders to filter noise and focus on strong reversal signals instead of relying on subjective visual interpretation.
The tool automatically scans every candle, highlights qualifying patterns on the chart, and provides alert options for both bullish and bearish versions of all four setups. This makes it suitable for intraday traders, swing traders, and positional traders seeking early reversal confirmation.
Included Setups
1. Doji Reversal Setup
Identifies candles with extremely small bodies relative to their range, combined with a smaller-than-average bar size. Useful for spotting market indecision before a directional shift.
2. Outside Reversal Setup
Flags candles that engulf the previous candle’s high–low range and exceed the average range by a multiplier. This is designed to capture strong momentum reversals driven by aggressive buying or selling.
3. Extreme Reversal Setup
Highlights large-bodied candles that dominate their overall range and exceed twice the average bar size. These signals aim to catch climactic exhaustion and institutional-level reversals.
4. Wick Reversal Setup
Detects candles with long rejection wicks, small bodies, and closes near an extreme of the range, supported by above-average bar size. Ideal for identifying sharp intrabar rejections.
