Volume ROC (smoothed)Description
The Volume ROC (Rate of Change) indicator is designed to measure the momentum of trading volume over a user-defined period, adjusted for the trading session length of the symbol (e.g., 8.5 hours for the FTSEMIB index). This makes it particularly useful for intraday charts where standard daily calculations might not align with actual trading days.
By focusing on volume changes rather than price, it helps identify potential shifts in market participation, such as accumulation, distribution, or unusual activity that could precede price movements.
How It Works:
Session Adjustment:
The indicator calculates the number of candles per trading day based on the input session duration (in hours) and the chart's timeframe. This ensures that the ROC and other calculations are based on "trading days" rather than calendar days, making it adaptable to markets with non-standard hours like European indices (e.g., FTSEMIB).
Daily Data Fetch:
It retrieves daily high, low, close, and volume data using "request.security" to ensure consistency across timeframes.
ROC Calculation:
The Rate of Change (ROC) is computed on volume using "ta.change" over the specified length (in days), multiplied by the candles-per-day factor for timeframe independence. By chosing the subtraction method instead of the division method we avoid distortions of the ROC below the zero line (method ok for timespans inferior to two years).
Smoothing with SMA:
A Simple Moving Average (SMA) is applied to the ROC to reduce noise and highlight trends in volume momentum.
Standard Deviation Bands:
The standard deviation of the smoothed ROC is calculated over a lookback period. Bands are plotted at +2σ (overbought) and -2σ (oversold) to provide context for extreme volume changes, similar to Bollinger Bands but applied to volume ROC.
Key Plots:
SMA Line (Orange): The smoothed ROC value. Positive values indicate increasing volume momentum; negative values suggest decreasing momentum.
Zero Line (Black Dotted): A reference line at 0, separating positive and negative ROC territories.
+2σ Band (Red Dotted): Upper overbought threshold. Crossings above this may signal excessive buying volume.
-2σ Band (Green Dotted): Lower oversold threshold. Dips below this could indicate capitulation or low interest.
Usage and Interpretation:
Trend Confirmation:
Use the SMA crossing above/below zero to confirm price trends with volume backing. For example, a rising price with positive Volume ROC suggests strong conviction.
Divergences:
Look for divergences between price and Volume ROC (e.g., price making new highs but ROC weakening), which can signal reversals.
Overbought/Oversold Signals:
The ±2σ bands act as dynamic levels. Volume ROC spiking above +2σ might precede pullbacks, while below -2σ could indicate buying opportunities.
Best Applied To:
European indices (like FTSEMIB or DAX), stocks, or futures with defined session hours. Test on intraday (e.g., 2h) and combine with price-based indicators like RSI or MACD for confluence.
Customization:
Adjust the ROC/SMA lengths for sensitivity (shorter for scalping, longer for swings). The STDEV lookback affects band width—longer periods create smoother bands.
Limitations:
Volume data can be noisy in low-liquidity symbols. This indicator assumes consistent session lengths; irregular holidays may affect accuracy. Always backtest and use with risk management.
This indicator is original and built for educational/trading purposes.

BTC - AXIS: Coppock + Williams %R CompositeTitle: BTC - AXIS: Coppock + Williams %R Composite | RM
Overview & Philosophy
AXIS (Advanced X-Momentum Intensity Score) is a specialized momentum composite designed to identify market structural shifts. In physics, an axis is the central line around which a body rotates; in this indicator, the Zero-Baseline acts as the AXIS for capital flow.
By fusing a slow-moving momentum engine ( Coppock Curve ) with a high-sensitivity tactical oscillator ( Williams %R ), this tool filters out the "market noise" that leads to overtrading and focuses on the high-conviction "Trend-Aligned Dips."
Methodology
Most indicators either suffer from too much lag (Moving Averages) or too much noise (Standard RSI). AXIS solves this through "Speed-Balanced Normalization."
1. Macro Engine (Coppock Curve): Named after Edwin Coppock, this component identifies major market bottoms by smoothing two separate Rates of Change (RoC). It is your structural compass.
2. Tactical Trigger (Williams %R): Created by Larry Williams, this measures the current close relative to the High-Low range.
• Re-centered Logic: Standard Williams %R oscillates between 0 and -100. Here, this is re-centered to oscillate around zero, ensuring it interacts mathematically correctly with the Coppock baseline.
3. The AXIS Score: The Composite line (Orange) is the weighted sum of these two engines. It provides a singular view of the market's "Net Momentum Intensity."
How to Read the Chart
🟧 The AXIS Composite (Orange Line): The primary signal line. It tracks the speed and exhaustion of the price by fusing macro and tactical data.
• Red Zone (> 150): Overheated. Short and long-term momentum are at extreme highs. Risk of a blow-off top or local reversal is high.
• Green Zone (< -150): Capitulation. The market is statistically exhausted. Historically, these zones represent high-conviction accumulation areas.
• Bullish Momentum (> 0): The market is rotating above the central Axis. Buyers are in control of the trend.
• Bearish Momentum (< 0): The market is rotating below the central Axis. Sellers are in control of the trend.
🟦 The Coppock Line (Blue): The macro filter. When Blue is above 0, the long-term trend is up.
🟥 The Williams %R Line (Red): The short-term cycles. Watch for divergences here to spot early trend fatigue.
Strategy: The "AXIS Alignment" Signal
The highest-conviction entry point—and the primary "Alpha" of this tool—occurs when:
The macro trend is Bullish ( Blue Line > 0 ).
The market experiences a correction, pushing the Orange (AXIS) Line into the Green Capitulation Zone.
The AXIS Score turns back upward.
This indicates that a short-term panic has been absorbed by a long-term bull trend—the ideal "Buy the Dip" scenario.
Settings
• Long/Short RoC: Standardized to 14/11 for cycle accuracy.
• Weighting: Allows you to prioritize trend (Coppock) or cycle sensitivity (%R).
• Visibility Toggles: Fully customizable display switches for each line.

BTC - Metcalfes Law (Deviation)Title: BTC – Metcalfe's Law (Deviation) | RM
Overview & Philosophy
The BTC – Metcalfe's Law (Deviation) is a fundamental valuation oscillator that answers one of the most important questions in network economics: "Is the current price justified by the number of active users?" Metcalfe's Law states that the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of its connected users (Value = Users squared). In the context of Bitcoin, this means that as the number of active addresses grows linearly, the network's fair value should grow exponentially. This script identifies periods where Bitcoin’s market capitalization has become "overextended" or "undervalued" relative to its actual network activity.
Methodology
The indicator performs a rolling log-log regression (Ordinary Least Squares) between Bitcoin's Market Cap and its Active Address count over a 730-day (2-year) window.
1. The Regression: The script calculates the statistical relationship: ln(Market Cap) = alpha + beta * ln(Active Addresses)
2. Pure Metcalfe vs. Generalized Metcalfe:
• Pure Metcalfe (Beta=2): By default, the script enforces a slope of 2.0, adhering to the classic mathematical law.
• Dynamic Fit: Users can disable the "Enforce Metcalfe" setting to let the model find the best historical fit (often resulting in a Beta between 1.5 and 1.8).
3. The Deviation (The Signal):
The resulting line represents the Log-Deviation from Fair Value.
• A value of 0.0 means Bitcoin is priced exactly according to its network utility.
• Positive values indicate a "valuation premium".
• Negative values indicate a "valuation discount".
How to Read the Chart
🔴 The Red Zone (Overvaluation > 1.0)
Meaning: The Market Cap has outpaced the growth of active users. Historically, these peaks represent speculative bubbles or cycle tops where price is driven by hype rather than utility.
🟢 The Green Zone (Undervaluation < -0.25)
Meaning: The network is being utilized, but the price has crashed below its fundamental support. Historically, these "Utility Floors" have marked the most profitable accumulation zones in Bitcoin’s history.
🟠 The Orange Line (Fair Value Transition)
Meaning: The market is in a healthy growth phase, moving in lockstep with user adoption.
Strategy & Interpretation
This tool is a Macro Compass . It is designed to help investors stay objective during periods of extreme market emotion.
• In a Bull Market: Watch for the deviation to hit the Red Zone. This is your signal that the "Network Utility" can no longer support the price, and a major correction is likely imminent.
• In a Bear Market: Look for the "Green Floor." When the price stays below the -0.25 level despite stable user activity, it suggests a massive mismatch between value and price—a classic buy signal.
Settings
• Regression Window (Default: 730 Days): Chosen to capture mid-to-long term cycle trends. Adjust to shorter timeframes for more dynamic behavior or longer timeframes (like 1460 Days) to catch longer cycles.
• Enforce Metcalfe: Toggle between the classic law (Beta=2) and a dynamic fit.
• Smoothing: A 30-day SMA is applied to active addresses to filter out daily "jitter."
Credits
• Robert Metcalfe: For the original law of network utility.
• Willy Woo & Greg Wheatley: For their pioneering work in applying Metcalfe's Law specifically to Bitcoin's valuation.
Important Data Requirement
To function, this indicator requires a data feed for Active Addresses . By default, it is set to GLASSNODE:BTC_ACTIVEADDRESSES . Please Note: On-chain data usually requires a premium vendor subscription on TradingView (e.g., Glassnode, IntoTheBlock, or CryptoQuant). If you do not have a subscription, the indicator will display a "Missing Data" warning.
⚠️ Note: This indicator is optimized for the Daily (1D) Timeframe. Please switch your chart to 1D for accurate signal reading.
Disclaimer
This script is for research and educational purposes only. It relies on third-party on-chain data. Fundamental valuation is only one piece of the puzzle; market dynamics can remain irrational longer than metrics can predict.

High Volume Breakout DetectorThis indicator is a dedicated volume analysis tool displayed in a separate pane below the price chart. It visually highlights significant volume surges (spikes) by comparing the current bar's volume to a dynamic threshold based on a Simple Moving Average (SMA) of volume.
Key Concepts and Methodology:
- The core calculation uses a user-configurable Simple Moving Average (default: 20 periods) of historical volume to establish a baseline of "normal" trading activity.
- A customizable multiplier (default: 1.50, meaning 150% of the SMA) defines the threshold for a volume spike. When the current bar's volume meets or exceeds this threshold, it is classified as a spike—indicating unusually high participation that often accompanies breakouts, reversals, climaxes, or institutional activity.
- Volume bars are plotted as columns and colored based on two factors:
- Candle direction: Green shades for bullish candles (close ≥ open), red shades for bearish candles (close < open).
- Spike status: Brighter/solid colors for confirmed spikes, muted/translucent colors for normal volume. This candle-matched coloring helps traders quickly assess whether the surge supports buying pressure (green spike on up candle) or selling/distribution (red spike on down candle).
- Optional overlays include the volume SMA line (blue) and the dynamic threshold line (orange, plotted as circles for easy distinction).
Features and Customization:
- Fully adjustable inputs: SMA length, multiplier threshold, colors for up/down/normal/spike bars, and toggles for showing the SMA line, threshold line, or background highlighting on spikes.
- Built-in alert condition triggers reliably on volume spikes (≥ selected multiplier of SMA), with a constant message string including ticker, timeframe, volume value, and threshold reference.
How to Use:
- Add to any chart in a separate pane (overlay=false).
- Look for brighter colored volume bars as potential signals of conviction in price moves. For example:
- Green spikes on up candles may signal strong accumulation or breakout confirmation.
- Red spikes on down candles may indicate distribution or exhaustion selling.
- Combine with price action, support/resistance, or trend indicators for confluence.
- Ideal for day trading, swing trading, or spotting volume climaxes on stocks, forex, crypto, or futures across any timeframe.
The unique combination of candle-direction-matched coloring for spikes, visual threshold plotting, and focused spike highlighting provides clearer, more actionable insight into directional volume pressure compared to standard volume displays.
SCOTTGO - Buy Sell Volume📊 SCOTTGO - Buy Sell Volume Bars - Delta - Up Down Volume Bars
This indicator disaggregates the total volume traded on each bar into estimated Buying Volume and Selling Volume to visualize market pressure and dominance directly in a dedicated sub-pane.
Key Features:
Volume Disaggregation: Uses a standard formula to estimate how much of a bar's total volume was associated with upward (buying) pressure and how much was associated with downward (selling) pressure.
Visual Clarity: Plots the Buy Volume (teal, upward) and Sell Volume (red, downward) as separate columns against a transparent total volume background, allowing for quick assessment of pressure balance.
Real-Time Badge: A dynamic badge is fixed to the corner of the chart (default: Top Right) providing a numeric summary of the latest bar:
Buy %: Percentage of the bar's total volume estimated as Buying Volume.
Sell %: Percentage of the bar's total volume estimated as Selling Volume.
Delta %: The magnitude of the volume difference (Delta) as a percentage of total volume, indicating the strength of the dominant side.
Dominance Indicator: The background color of the badge changes dynamically to immediately signal whether Buying (customizable color, default: Teal) or Selling (customizable color, default: Red) pressure was dominant on the current bar.
Usage:
Traders can use this tool to identify periods of heavy accumulation (high Buy Volume) or distribution (high Sell Volume), providing insight into the conviction behind price movements.
Opposite Candle Zone Identifier (v6) - Extended🔍 Opposite Candle Zone Identifier (Extended)
Opposite Candle Zone Identifier is a price-action based indicator designed to identify potential reversal or absorption zones by detecting candles that move against the surrounding trend.
The indicator highlights a central opposite candle (or group of candles) that is surrounded by candles moving in the opposite direction, both before and after the central candle.
This structure often represents areas where institutional activity, absorption, or supply/demand imbalance may occur.
📌 How the Indicator Works
The indicator analyzes price action using three configurable blocks:
1️⃣ Candles Before (Backward)
A user-defined number of candles before the central candle(s) must follow a consistent trend:
Bullish candles for a bearish zone
Bearish candles for a bullish zone
2️⃣ Central Candle(s)
The core of the pattern:
Default: 1 opposite candle
Can be increased (up to 5) to adapt the indicator to lower timeframes or noisier markets
This central block must move against the previous trend, signaling a potential shift or absorption area.
3️⃣ Candles After (Forward)
A user-defined number of candles after the central candle(s) must resume the original trend, confirming the pattern.
⚠️ The signal is confirmed only after the “after” candles are completed.
This avoids repainting and ensures structural confirmation.
📐 Zone Concept
The highlighted central candle (or candles) can be used to define a price zone:
The high and low of the central candle(s) represent a potential supply or demand zone
These zones can be used for:
Reversal areas
Reaction zones
Entry refinement
Stop placement
⚙️ Inputs & Customization
Number of candles before
Controls how many candles must follow the initial trend.
Number of candles after
Defines how many candles are required for confirmation.

SCOTTGO - RVOL Bull/Bear Painter (Real-Time) SCOTTGO - RVOL Bull/Bear Painter (Real-Time Momentum Detection)
📌Overview
The RVOL Bull/Bear Painter is a Pine Script indicator designed to instantly highlight high-momentum candles driven by significant Relative Volume (RVOL).
It provides a clear visual signal (bar color, shape, and label) when a candle's volume exceeds its average by a user-defined threshold, confirming strong bullish or bearish interest in real-time. This helps traders quickly identify potential institutional accumulation/distribution or breakout/breakdown attempts.
✨ Key Features
Relative Volume (RVOL) Calculation: Automatically calculates the ratio of the current bar's volume to its moving average (SMA or EMA) over a customizable lookback period.
Momentum Confirmation: Paints the candle green (bullish) or red (bearish) only when both price direction and high RVOL criteria are met.
Real-Time Detection: Uses a plotshape method to display the signal triangle as soon as the RVOL and direction conditions are met on the currently forming candle, aiming for faster alerts than bar-close coloring.
Customizable Threshold: Easily adjust the RVOL multiplier (e.g., 1.5x, 2.0x, 3.0x) to filter out noise and only focus on truly significant volume events.
Labels and Alerts: Displays a volume multiplier label (e.g., BULL 2.55x) and includes pre-configured alert conditions for automated notifications.
🛠️ How to Use It
1. Identify High-Conviction Moves
Look for the painted candles and the corresponding labels. A candle painted green with a BULL label (e.g., BULL 2.5x) indicates that buyers stepped in with 2.5 times the typical volume to drive the price higher.
2. Configure Your Sensitivity
The power of the script lies in customizing the inputs:
RVOL Lookback Period: Determines the length of the volume moving average.
Shorter periods (e.g., 9-20) make the indicator more reactive to recent volume changes.
Longer periods (e.g., 50-200) require a much larger volume spike to trigger a signal.
RVOL Threshold: This is the multiplier.
Lower values (e.g., 1.5) will generate more signals.
Higher values (e.g., 3.0) will generate fewer, but generally higher-conviction, signals.
3. Set Up Alerts
Use the pre-configured alert conditions (Bullish RVOL Signal and Bearish RVOL Signal) in TradingView's alert menu. Crucially, set the alert frequency to "Once per bar" or "Once per minute" to receive notifications as soon as the high RVOL event occurs, without waiting for the bar to close.

- ✅ Wait for regime to stabilize
**Why It's Dangerous:**
- Stop hunts are common
- Whipsaws everywhere
- News-driven volatility
- No technical reliability
- Even "perfect" setups fail
**When Does It End:**
- Volatility ratio drops < 1.5
- ADX starts rising (direction appears)
- Price respects support/resistance again
- Usually 1-5 days
---
## CONFLUENCE SYSTEM
### How It Works
The system scores each potential entry on 5 factors. More factors aligning = higher probability.
### Confluence Requirements by Regime
**Trending Regimes** (strictest):
- Minimum 2/5 required
- 3/5 = Good
- 4-5/5 = Excellent
**Ranging Regimes** (moderate):
- Minimum 1-2/5 required
- 2/5 = Good
- 3+/5 = Excellent
**Consolidation** (breakout only):
- Volume is most critical
- Direction confirmation
- Less confluence needed
### Adjusting Minimum Confluence
**If too few signals:**
- Lower from 2 to 1
- More trades, lower quality
**If too many false signals:**
- Raise from 2 to 3
- Fewer trades, higher quality
**Recommendation:**
- Start at 2
- Adjust based on win rate
- Aim for 55-65% win rate

Volatility High/Low Projection (PHOD / PLOD)AP Capital – Volatility + High/Low Projection
This indicator is designed to identify high-probability intraday turning points by combining daily range statistics, session behaviour, and volatility context into a single clean framework.
It is built for index, forex, and metals traders who want structure, not noise.
🔹 Core Features
1️⃣ Potential High of Day (PHOD) & Potential Low of Day (PLOD)
The indicator highlights likely intraday extremes based on:
Session timing (Asia, London, New York)
Current day volatility vs historical averages
Prior day expansion or compression behaviour
Each level is displayed with:
A clear label (PHOD / PLOD)
A forward-extending box acting as a live Point of Interest (POI)
Automatic invalidation when price breaks the zone
2️⃣ Volatility & Range Context (Info Panel)
A compact information panel in the top-right corner provides real-time context without cluttering the chart:
20-Day Average Range
% of the average range already used today
Range status (NORMAL / EXHAUSTED)
Average session ranges for:
Asia
London
New York
This allows traders to immediately assess whether price is:
Early in the day with room to trend
Statistically stretched and prone to reversal
Over-extended where breakout chasing is risky
3️⃣ Session-Aware Logic
The model respects how markets behave across the trading day:
Asia favours accumulation and potential lows
London provides expansion
New York often delivers distribution or exhaustion
This prevents random high/low marking and focuses only on structurally meaningful levels.
🧠 How to Use
Use PHOD / PLOD boxes as reaction zones, not blind entries
Combine with your own confirmation (structure break, momentum, volume, EMA reclaim, etc.)
Avoid chasing trades when the Range Status = EXHAUSTED
Particularly effective on 15m – 1h timeframes
⚠️ Important Notes
This indicator does not repaint
It is contextual, not a buy/sell signal generator
Best used as part of a complete trading plan
📈 Suitable Markets
XAUUSD (Gold)
Indices (NASDAQ, S&P 500, DAX)
Major FX pairs

AlgoZ Smart Divergence [Trend Filtered]AlgoZ Smart Divergence is a precision entry tool designed to catch market reversals by analyzing Volume Divergence combined with Multi-Timeframe Trend Filtering. Unlike standard divergence indicators that signal on every minor price fluctuation, this script uses a strict set of filters to only present high-probability trade setups that align with the broader market trend.
This is the Free Edition of the AlgoZ Suite, focused on providing clean, non-repainting Buy and Sell signals based on institutional volume flow.
How It Works The script operates on a 3-step validation process:
Volume Divergence:
It detects anomalies where volume spikes relative to price action (e.g., Price makes a Lower Low, but Volume hits a Higher High).
HTF Trend Painting:
It analyzes a Higher Timeframe (Default: 3 Hours) to determine the macro trend. If the 3H trend is Bullish, the candles turn Green. If Bearish, they turn Red.
Color Match Filtering:
The script includes a smart filter that blocks signals that go against the trend. You will only see BUY signals when the candles are Green (Uptrend) and SELL signals when the candles are Red (Downtrend).
Key Features
Volume Divergence Engine:
Identifies hidden accumulation and distribution zones.
HTF Trend Coloring:
Automatically paints your chart based on Higher Timeframe breakouts (Default: 3-Hour Trend).
Smart Signal Filtering:
Toggles are available to "Only Show Signals Matching Candle Color," ensuring you never trade against the momentum.
EMA Trend Filter:
Includes a built-in 10-period EMA filter to further refine entries.
Volatility Filters:
Optional RSI and ADX filters are included to avoid trading during low-volatility "chop."
How to Use
For Longs (Buys):
Wait for the candles to turn Green (indicating the 3-Hour trend is up) and look for a BUY label. The price must also be above the 10 EMA (if enabled).
For Shorts (Sells):
Wait for the candles to turn Red (indicating the 3-Hour trend is down) and look for a SELL label.
Risk Management:
This script is designed to catch reversals. Always place your Stop Loss below the recent swing low (for buys) or above the swing high (for sells).
Settings
Higher Timeframe:
Default is set to 3 Hours (180 minutes). You can adjust this to 1 Day or 4 Hours depending on your trading style.
EMA Length:
Default is 10.
Color Match Filter:
On by default.
VCAI RSI Divergence +VCAI RSI Divergence+ is an RSI that shows trend, momentum, and divergence using V-CoresAI colour logic instead of a single white line.
What it shows:
Yellow RSI line → bullish momentum (RSI above its MA; buy-side pressure in control)
Purple RSI line → bearish momentum (RSI below its MA; sell-side pressure in control)
Thin blue line → fast RSI moving average that drives the colour flips
Dashed 70/30 lines → classic OB/OS zones
Background bands → soft purple in OB, soft yellow in OS to mark exhaustion areas
How to read it:
Yellow & rising → momentum shifting bullish; pullbacks into yellow OS band can be accumulation zones
Purple & falling → momentum shifting bearish; pushes into purple OB band can be distribution/sell zones
Hard colour flips (yellow ↔ purple) mark trend regime changes, not minor RSI noise
Divergence mode (on/off)
The divergence engine scans RSI and price pivot structure:
Bullish divergence (yellow) → price lower low + RSI higher low
Bearish divergence (purple) → price higher high + RSI lower high
Lines and tags appear only where a meaningful disagreement between price and RSI exists, giving early context for potential reversals or fade setups.
Together, the momentum colours + optional divergence mapping give a far clearer market read than a standard RSI, with zero clutter and no guesswork.
Fair Value Gap Signals [Kodexius]Fair Value Gap Signals is an advanced market structure tool that automatically detects and tracks Fair Value Gaps (FVGs), evaluates the quality of each gap, and highlights high value reaction zones with visual metrics and signal markers.
The script is designed for traders who focus on liquidity concepts, order flow and mean reversion. It goes beyond basic FVG plotting by continuously monitoring how price interacts with each gap and by quantifying three key aspects of each zone:
-Entry velocity inside the gap
-Volume absorption during tests
-Structural integrity and depth of penetration
The result is a dynamic, information rich visualization of which gaps are being respected, which are being absorbed, and where potential reversals or continuations are most likely to occur.
All visual elements are configurable, including the maximum number of visible gaps per direction, mitigation method (close or wick) and an ATR based filter to ignore insignificant gaps in low volatility environments.
🔹 Features
🔸 Automated Fair Value Gap Detection
The script detects both bullish and bearish FVGs based on classic three candle logic:
Bullish FVG: current low is strictly above the high from two bars ago
Bearish FVG: current high is strictly below the low from two bars ago
🔸 ATR Based Gap Filter
To avoid clutter and low quality signals, the script can ignore very small gaps using an ATR based filter.
🔸Per Gap State Machine and Lifecycle
Each gap is tracked with an internal status:
Fresh: gap has just formed and has not been tested
Testing: price is currently trading inside the gap
Tested: gap was tested and left, waiting for a potential new test
Rejected: price entered the gap and then rejected away from it
Filled: gap is considered fully mitigated and no longer active
This state machine allows the script to distinguish between simple touches, multiple tests and meaningful reversals, and to trigger different alerts accordingly.
🔸 Visual Ranking of Gaps by Metrics
For each active gap, three additional horizontal rank bars are drawn on top of the gap area:
Rank 1 (Vel): maximum entry velocity inside the gap
Rank 2 (Vol): relative test volume compared to average volume
Rank 3 (Dpt): remaining safety of the gap based on maximum penetration depth
These rank bars extend horizontally from the creation bar, and their length is a visual score between 0 and 1, scaled to the age of the gap. Longer bars represent stronger or more favorable conditions.
🔸Signals and Rejection Markers
When a gap shows signs of rejection (price enters the gap and then closes away from it with sufficient activity), the script can print a signal label at the reaction point. These markers summarize the internal metrics of the gap using a tooltip:
-Velocity percentage
-Volume percentage
-Safety score
-Number of tests
🔸 Flexible Mitigation Logic (Close or Wick)
You can choose how mitigation is defined via the Mitigation Method input:
Close: the gap is considered filled only when the closing price crosses the gap boundary
Wick: a full fill is detected as soon as any wick crosses the gap boundary
🔸 Alert Conditions
-New FVG formed
-Price entering a gap (testing)
-Gap fully filled and invalidated
-Rejection signal generated
🔹Calculations
This section summarizes the main calculations used under the hood. Only the core logic is covered.
1. ATR Filter and Gap Size
The script uses a configurable ATR length to filter out small gaps. First the ATR is computed:
float atrVal = ta.atr(atrLength)
Gap size for both directions is then measured:
float gapSizeBull = low - high
float gapSizeBear = low - high
If useAtrFilter is enabled, gaps smaller than atrVal are ignored. This ties the minimum gap size to the current volatility regime.
2. Fair Value Gap Detection
The basic FVG conditions use a three bar structure:
bool fvgBull = low > high
bool fvgBear = high < low
For bullish gaps the script stores:
-top as low of the current bar
-bottom as high
For bearish gaps:
-top as high of the current bar
-bottom as low
This defines the price range that is considered the imbalance area.
3. Depth and Safety Score
Depth measures how far price has penetrated into the gap since its creation. For each bar, the script computes a currentDepth and updates the maximum depth:
float currentDepth = 0.0
if g.isBullish
if l < g.top
currentDepth := g.top - l
else
if h > g.bottom
currentDepth := h - g.bottom
if currentDepth > g.maxDepth
g.maxDepth := currentDepth
The safety score expresses how much of the gap remains intact:
float depthRatio = g.maxDepth / gapSize
float safetyScore = math.max(0.0, 1.0 - depthRatio)
safetyScore near 1: gap is mostly untouched
safetyScore near 0: gap is mostly or fully filled
4. Velocity Metric
Velocity captures how aggressively price moves inside the gap. It is based on the body to range ratio of each bar that trades within the gap and rewards bars that move in the same direction as the gap:
float barRange = h - l
float bodyRatio = math.abs(close - open) / barRange
float directionBonus = 0.0
if g.isBullish and close > open
directionBonus := 0.2
else if not g.isBullish and close < open
directionBonus := 0.2
float currentVelocity = math.min(bodyRatio + directionBonus, 1.0)
The gap keeps track of the strongest observed value:
if currentVelocity > g.maxVelocity
g.maxVelocity := currentVelocity
This maximum is later used as velScore when building the velocity rank bar.
5. Volume Accumulation and Volume Score
While price is trading inside a gap, the script accumulates the traded volume:
if isInside
g.testVolume += volume
It also keeps track of the number of tests and the volume at the start of the first test:
if g.status == "Fresh"
g.status := "Testing"
g.testCount := 1
g.testStartVolume := volume
An average volume is computed using a 20 period SMA:
float volAvg = ta.sma(volume, 20)
The expected volume is approximated as:
float expectedVol = volAvg * math.max(1, (bar_index - g.index) / 2)
The volume score is then:
float volScore = math.min(g.testVolume / expectedVol, 1.0)
This produces a normalized 0 to 1 metric that shows whether the gap has attracted more or less volume than expected over its lifetime.
6. Rank Bar Scaling
All three scores are projected visually along the time axis as horizontal bars. The script uses the age of the gap in bars as the maximum width:
float maxWidth = math.max(bar_index - g.index, 1)
Then each metric is mapped to a bar length:
int len1 = int(math.max(1, maxWidth * velScore))
g.rankBox1.set_right(g.index + len1)
int len2 = int(math.max(1, maxWidth * volScore))
g.rankBox2.set_right(g.index + len2)
int len3 = int(math.max(1, maxWidth * safetyScore))
g.rankBox3.set_right(g.index + len3)
This creates an intuitive visual representation where stronger metrics produce longer rank bars, making it easy to quickly compare the relative quality of multiple FVGs on the chart.
Advanced Breakout System v2.0Advanced Breakout System v2.0
Developed by: Mohammed Bedaiwi
This script hunts for high-probability breakouts by combining price consolidation zones, volume spikes vs. average volume, smart money flow (OBV), and a Momentum Override for explosive moves that skip consolidation. Additionally, it automatically identifies and plots Support and Resistance levels with price labels to help you visualize market structure.
The system follows a "Watch & Confirm" logic: it first prints a WATCH setup, then a BUY only if price confirms strength.
💡 JUSTIFICATION OF CONCEPTS (MASHUP & ORIGINALITY)
This script is an original mashup combining several analytical concepts to address common breakout failures:
Volatility Compression Engine: Uses built-in functions like ta.highest() and ta.lowest() to mathematically define the setup phase where price volatility is compressed below a user-defined threshold.
Volume Spike Confirmation: The breakout must be confirmed by a volume increase greater than a moving average of volume, signaling strong market interest.
Smart Volume Filter (OBV): This is the key component. By checking if ta.obv is above its own Moving Average, we confirm that accumulation has been occurring during the consolidation period, suggesting institutional positioning before the price break.
Multi-Exit Risk System: Employs dynamic exits (EMA cross, volume dump, bearish pattern) instead of static stop-losses to manage risk adaptively based on real-time market action.
Market Structure Visualization: The script also includes a Support & Resistance engine to plot key swing pivots and price labels for visual context.
✅ STRATEGY RESULTS & POLICY COMPLIANCE
To ensure non-misleading and transparent backtesting results, this strategy is published with the following fully compliant properties:
Dataset Compliance: The backtest is performed on the CMTL Daily (1D) chart across a long history, generating 201 total trades. This significantly exceeds the minimum requirement of 100 trades, providing a robust test dataset.
Risk Control: The strategy uses a conservative order size set to 2% of equity (default_qty_value=2), strictly adhering to the sustainable risk recommendation of 5-10% of equity per trade.
Transaction Costs: Realistic trading conditions are modeled using 0.07% commission and 3 ticks slippage to prevent the overestimation of profitability.
⚙️ VISUAL GUIDE & SIGNAL LOGIC
Key Color Legend (Visual Guide):
WATCH – Setup (Yellow Arrow Down): Potential breakout setup detected.
BUY – Confirmation (Green Arrow Up): Confirmed breakout, triggered when price trades above the high of the WATCH candle.
SELL – Break (Orange Arrow): Short-term trend weakness, triggered when price closes below the Fast EMA (9).
SELL – Dump (Dark Red Arrow): Distribution / volume dump, triggered by a bearish candle with abnormally high volume.
SELL – Pattern (Purple Arrow): Bearish price-action pattern (such as a bearish engulfing).
Support & Resistance Lines (Red/Green): Small horizontal lines plotted at key swing points with exact price labels.
⌨️ INPUTS (DEFAULT SETTINGS)
Entry settings: Consolidation Lookback (default 20) = bars used to detect consolidation. Consolidation Range % (default 12%) = max allowed range size. Volume Spike Multiplier (default 1.2) = factor above average volume to count as a spike. Force Signal on Big Moves (default ON) = forces a WATCH signal on high-momentum moves.
Exit settings: Enable Fast Exit (EMA 9) toggles the SELL – Break signal. Dump Volume Multiplier defines what counts as “dump” volume.
Support & Resistance: Adjustable Pivot Left/Right bars control the sensitivity of the support and resistance lines.
⚠️ Disclaimer Trading involves significant risk of loss. This script is for educational and informational purposes only and is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. BUY and SELL signals are rule-based and derived from historical behavior and do not guarantee future performance. Always use your own analysis and risk management. This is an open-source strategy; users are encouraged to test it across different symbols and timeframes.
VWAP + EMA9 With SignalsThis script is for scalping on the 5 minute timeframe. It contains signals that indicate intersection of VWAP by the EMA9. It contains Buy signals when a candle closes above both lines indicating a quick continuation of a long position (quick scalp) as well as Sell signals when a candle closes below both lines indicating a quick continuation of a short position (quick scalp). Please note that i do not recommend entries at Buy and Sell signals during Accumulation/Consolidation. Positions should be taken with volume.
PRICE ACTION TRAKKERThis indicator isolates the core price-phase engine from the full Price Action Tracker (PAT) system.
It identifies and visualises structural phases of price, including:
Upper phase boundary (dynamic resistance)
Lower phase boundary (dynamic support)
Phase average (mean-reversion anchor)
Pivot markers (LPH, LPL, oLPH, oLPL)
The phase engine dynamically adapts to evolving market structure using pivot behaviour and structural breaks. This creates a real-time visual map of how price is organising itself — independent of time-based indicators and without the lag associated with classical moving averages.
This version focuses exclusively on price action structure, making it clean, fast, and ideal as a core tool on its own.
However, it is also designed as a foundation for more advanced analysis and will expand over time as additional modules are released.
This phase engine works exceptionally well in combination with my other indicators, such as moving-average structure tools, volume-weighted frameworks, and trend-strength models. Together, they provide a layered view of market behaviour:
phase structure → trend bias → volume confirmation → entry logic.
This makes the indicator valuable for:
Intra-day and swing traders
Wyckoff and liquidity-based traders
Mean-reversion and range-trading strategies
Understanding where accumulation/distribution behaviour is forming
Identifying when a phase is likely ending or breaking
Future updates will add modular expansion paths (trend scoring, VWAP phase weighting, multi-phase confluence, and signal logic), while maintaining the simplicity and reliability of this core engine.
Works Best With:
This indicator is part of a broader toolkit designed to analyse structure, trend, and behaviour.
When used alongside my other published tools — such as trend-strength MAs, VWMA frameworks, and higher-timeframe bias indicators — it provides a complete, multi-layered view of market conditions.

Vassago & Tesla Ex-Machina 197 45 21 [Hakan Yorganci]Vassago & Tesla Ex-Machina 197 45 21
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." — Arthur C. Clarke
🌑 The Genesis: Algorithmic Esotericism
This script is not merely a technical indicator; it is a digital artifact born from the convergence of Software Engineering and Hermetic Tradition.
As a developer and researcher dedicated to "Technomancy"—the study of applying esoteric logic to computational systems—I designed this algorithm using a custom, experimental programming environment I am currently developing. My goal was to move beyond standard, arbitrary financial inputs (like the default 200 SMA or 14 RSI) and instead derive parameters based on Universal Harmonics and Historical Archetypes.
This indicator, Ex-Machina, is the result of that transmutation. It applies ancient numeric precision to modern market chaos.
🔢 Decoding the Protocol: 197 - 45 - 21
Why these specific numbers? They were not chosen randomly; they were calculated through specific harmonic reductions to filter out market noise.
1. The Harmonic Trend (Tesla Protocol)
* The Logic: Standard analysis uses the 200-period Moving Average simply out of habit. However, applying Nikola Tesla’s 3-6-9 vibrational principles, the engine reduced the period to 197.
* The Numerology: 1+9+7 = 17 \rightarrow 1+7 = \mathbf{8}. In esoteric numerology, 8 represents infinite power, authority, and financial flow. This creates a baseline that aligns more organically with market accumulation than the static 200.
2. The Hidden Dip (Solomonic Sight)
* The Archetype: Based on the attributes of Vassago, the archetype of discovering "hidden things," the algorithm identified 45 as the precise threshold for a "Sniper Entry."
* The Function: Unlike the standard 30 RSI, this level identifies the exact moment a correction matures within a bullish trend—catching the dip before the crowd returns.
3. The Prophetic Vision
* The Logic: Using the Fibonacci Sequence, the indicator projects the support line 21 bars into the future.
* The Utility: This allows you to visualize where the support will be, granting you foresight before price action arrives.
⚖️ The Dual Mode Engine: Sealed vs. Living
Respecting the user's will, I have engineered this script as a Hybrid System. You can choose how the "spirit" of the code interacts with the market via the settings menu.
1. The Sealed Ritual (Default - Unchecked)
* Philosophy: "Trust in the Constants."
* Behavior: Strictly adheres to the 197 SMA and 45 RSI.
* Visual: Displays a Blue Trend Line.
* Best For: Traders who value stability, long-term trends, and the unyielding nature of harmonic mathematics.
2. The Living Spirit (Adaptive Mode - Checked)
* Philosophy: "As the market breathes, so does the code."
* Behavior:
* Transmutation: The trend line shifts from a Simple Moving Average (SMA) to an Exponential Moving Average (EMA 197) for faster reaction.
* Adaptive Volatility: The RSI entry level (45) becomes dynamic. It expands and contracts based on ATR (Average True Range). In high volatility, it demands a deeper dip to trigger a signal, protecting you from fake-outs.
* Visual: Displays a Fuchsia (Pink) Trend Line.
* Best For: Volatile markets (Crypto/Forex) and traders who want the algorithm to "sense" the fear and greed in the air.
⚙️ How to Trade
* Timeframe: Optimized for 4H (The Builder) and 1D (The Architect).
* The Signal: Wait for the "EX-MACHINA ENTRY" label. This signal manifests ONLY when:
* Price is holding above the 197 Harmonic Trend.
* Momentum crosses the Optimized Threshold (45 or Adaptive).
* Trend Strength is confirmed via ADX.
Author's Note:
I built this tool for those who understand that code is the modern spellbook. Use it wisely, risk responsibly, and let the harmonics guide your entries.

Volume profilerMulti-Range Volume Analysis & Absorption Detection
This tool visualises market activity through multi-range volume profiling and absorption signal detection. It helps you quickly identify where volume expands, compresses, or diverges from expected behaviour.
What it does
Volume Profiler plots four volume EMAs (short / mid / long / longer) so you can gauge how current volume compares to different market regimes.
It also highlights structural volume extremes:
• Low-volume bars (liquidity withdrawal)
These are potential signs of exhaustion, pauses, or low liquidity environments.
• High-volume + Low-range absorption
A classic footprint-style signal where aggressive volume fails to move price.
Often seen during:
absorption of one side of the book
liquidity collection
failed breakouts
institutional accumulation/distribution
You can choose:
which EMA defines “high volume”
how to measure candle range (High-Low, True Range, or Body)
how to define baseline volatility (ATR or average range)
Alerts are included so you can monitor absorption automatically.
Features
Multi-range volume EMAs (10 / 50 / 100 / 300 by default)
Low-volume bar flags
Absorption detection based on custom thresholds
Customisable volatility baseline
Optional bar colouring
Labels displayed directly in the volume pane
Alert conditions for absorption events
How to use
This indicator is valuable for:
confirming trend strength or weakness
detecting absorption before reversal or breakout continuation
finding low-liquidity pauses
identifying volume expansion across different time horizons
footprint-style behavioural confirmation without needing order-flow data
Works across all markets and timeframes.
Notes
This script is intended for educational and analytical use.
It does not repaint.
ICT Quant-Core: Liquidity Intelligence [Dual-Engine]🔥 THE ULTIMATE LIQUIDITY FILTERING ENGINE
Most SMC traders lose money because they "catch falling knives" on every local wick. This algorithm solves this problem by using DUAL-CORE logic and a signal quality scoring system.
This is no ordinary pivot indicator.
⚙️ HOW DOES IT WORK? (DUAL-CORE LOGIC)
The algorithm analyzes the market on two levels simultaneously:
1️⃣ MACRO CORE (Lookback 50 - "WHALE 🐋")
Tracks key levels from recent weeks/months.
This is where institutions build their positions.
Signals from this core have the highest priority (Score 10/10).
2️⃣ LOCAL CORE (Lookback 20 - "ROACH 🐟")
Tracks internal market structure and noise.
Signals are filtered by the Main Trend. If the trend is down, Local Longs are marked as "TRAP."
🧠 SMART FILTERS (QUANT LAYERS)
Instead of entering on every line touch, the script requires confirmation:
✅ RECLAIM LOGIC: Price must close back above/below the liquidity level (Swing Failure Pattern).
✅ RVOL FILTER: Requires relative volume > 1.2x the average (institutional track).
✅ SCORING SYSTEM (0-10): Each signal receives a score.
- 10/10: Macro Grab in line with the trend + high volume.
- 3/10: Local Grab against the trend (risky).
📊 ANALYTICAL DASHBOARD
In the lower right corner, you'll find the "Command Center":
- Trend Status (Distribution/Accumulation)
- Whale's Last Move (Price and Direction)
- Current Tactics (e.g., "Ignore Longs, Search for Shorts")
- Filter Status (RSI, Volume, Reclaim)
🚀 HOW TO USE IT?
1. Set the H4 timeframe.
2. Wait for a signal with a rating > 7/10.
3. Ignore "Fish/Local" signals (small icons) if they contradict the Dashboard color.
4. Entry occurs only after the candle closes (Reclaim).
