I have recently been reading How to Day Trade for a Living by Andrew Aziz and one of the important support and resistance levels he talks about is the Previous Day Close Price.
I did not find an indicator that would simply plot this so I wrote a short simple pine script to plot the indicator.
Please feel free to edit or suggest improvements.
here I like to publish my first TradingView Script for the Indicator "LotSizeCalc" which calculates the LotSize for the currency '€' for e.g. the MT4-App depending on the following parameters:
- Stop Loss in pips (example: 30 pips)
- Account Balance in EUR (example: 500€)
- Risk in % (example: 1%)
It is very similar to the MyFxBook Calculator on their...
The Normalizer adds an indicator to your chart with the option to view regular Volume, normalized Volume or normalized price.
Normalized Volume divides the current Volume bar into a moving average and multiplies by 100. The resulting plot is a histogram showing how far above or below the moving average that volume bar was.
Normalized Price does the exact same...
This script will give you red/green columns to indicate if price is above or below a certain EMA. With Candlestick charting, we are looking for price in relation to the 8 ema Trigger Line (T-Line). You can adjust this indicator to fit your need. Simple, but nice to quickly see.
Oops. Last line's title should be "Sell". Doesn't affect display though.
This script shows the price development over the last year (default: green) and mean prices over the last three (default: light green), six (default: orange) and nine (default: red) years and is therefore at least some kind of approach towards true seasonality.
Thanks to user "apozdnyakov" for providing most of the code!

This script is very much beta!
This is a simple script to visualize how two symbols move in relation to each other. For example if the underlying symbol is a 2x Gold ETF (meaning the ticker moves at 2x the spot price of gold---if gold goes up 3% this ticker should go up 6%) and the comparison symbol is an 2x inverse gold ETF (at gold up 3% this should move down...
BossHouse - Price Change
What it is:
In the stock market, a price change is the difference in trading prices from one period to the next or the difference between the daily opening and closing prices of a share of stock.
Here you have a timeline with a bar price change. In seconds you can see if the selected market has good and high price changes or not.
This indicator is intended to evaluate the quality of the bullish candles (close > open).
It will calculate the average size of the bullish candles from the last 200 periods. I'm assuming that a bullish candle with a superior wick or shadow equal or less than 25% of the total size of the bar is a good disruption candle. You can adjust at your own taste.
Bars of largest range (volatility)
* see moments of strongest price action immediately
* colored & upDown by candle color
* amplifier: you see only the bull runs, and subsequent dumps
Very nice on the 5 years scale of BITSTAMP:BTCUSD - nothing comparable to 2013 has happened yet.
