Customizable Non-Repainting HTF MACD MFI Scalper Bot Strategy v2Customizable Non-Repainting HTF MACD MFI Scalper Bot Strategy v2
This script was originally shared by Wunderbit as a free open source script for the community to work with. This is my second published iteration of this idea.
WHAT THIS SCRIPT DOES:
It is intended for use on an algorithmic bot trading platform but can be used for scalping and manual trading.
This strategy is based on the trend-following momentum indicator . It includes the Money Flow index as an additional point for entry.
This is a new and improved version geared for lower timeframes (15-5 minutes), but can be run on larger ones as well. I am testing it live as my high frequency trader.
HOW IT DOES IT:
It uses a combination of MACD and MFI indicators to create entry signals. Parameters for each indicator have been surfaced for user configurability.
Take profits are now trailing profits, and the stop loss is now fixed. Why? I found that the trailing stop loss with ATR in the previous version yields very good results for back tests but becomes very difficult to deploy live due to transaction fees. As you can see the average trade is a higher profit percentage than the previous version.
HOW IS MY VERSION ORIGINAL:
Now instead of using ATR stop loss, we have a fixed stop loss - counter intuitively to what some may believe this performs better in live trading scenarios since it gives the strategy room to move. I noticed that the ATR trailing stop was stopping out too fast and was eating away balance due to transaction fees.
The take profit on the other hand is now a trailing profit with a customizable deviation. This ensures that you can have a minimum profit you want to take in order to exit.
I have depracated the old ATR trailing stop as it became too confusing to have those as different options. I kept the old version for others that want to experiment with it. The source code still requires some cleanup, but its fully functional.
I added in a way to show RSI values and ATR values with a checkbox so that you can use the new an improved ATR Filter (and grab the right RSI values for the RSI filter). This will help to filter out times of very low volatility where we are unlikely to find a profitable trade. Use the "Show Data" checkbox to see what the values are on the indicator pane, then use those values to gauge what you want to filter out.
Both versions
Delayed Signals : The script has been refactored to use a time frame drop down. The higher time frame can be run on a faster chart (recommended on one minute chart for fastest signal confirmation and relay to algotrading platform.)
Repainting Issues : All indicators have been recoded to use the security function that checks to see if the current calculation is in realtime, if it is, then it uses the previous bar for calculation. If you are still experiencing repainting issues based on intended (or non intended use), please provide a report with screenshot and explanation so I can try to address.
Filtering : I have added to additional filters an ABOVE EMA Filter and a BELOW RSI Filter (both can be turned on and off)
Customizable Long and Close Messages : This allows someone to use the script for algorithmic trading without having to alter code. It also means you can use one indicator for all of your different alterts required for your bots.
HOW TO USE IT:
It is intended to be used in the 5-30 minute time frames, but you might be able to get a good configuration for higher time frames. I welcome feedback from other users on what they have found.
Find a pair with high volatility (example KUCOIN:ETH3LUSDT ) - I have found it works particularly well with 3L and 3S tokens for crypto. although it the limitation is that confrigurations I have found to work typically have low R/R ratio, but very high win rate and profit factor.
Ideally set one minute chart for bots, but you can use other charts for manual trading. The signal will be delayed by one bar but I have found configurations that still test well.
Select a time frame in configuration for your indicator calculations.
Select the strategy config for time frame (resolution). I like to use 5 and 15 minutes for scalping scenarios, but I am interested in hearing back from other community memebers.
Optimize your indicator without filters : customize your settings for MACD and MFI that are profitable with your chart and selected time frame calculation. Try different Take Profits (try about 2-5%) and stop loss (try about 5-8%). See if your back test is profitable and continue to optimize.
Use the Trend, RSI, ATR Filter to further refine your signals for entry. You will get less entries but you can increase your win ratio.
You can use the open and close messages for a platform integration, but I choose to set mine up on the destination platform and let the platform close it. With certain platforms you cannot be sure what your entry point actually was compared to Trading View due to slippage and timing, so I let the platform decide when it is actually profitable.
Limitations: this works rather well for short term, and does some good forward testing but back testing large data sets is a problem when switching from very small time frame to large time frame. For instance, finding a configuration that works on a one minute chart but then changing to a 1 hour chart means you lose some of your intra bar calclulations. There are some new features in pine script which might be able to address, this, but I have not had a chance to work on that issue.

2 EMA + Stochastic RSI with ATR TrailingHello, one of my first public scripts!
This strategy uses:
1. 2 EMA's
2. Stochastic RSI
3. ATR
Very simple, yet effective strategy.
The strategy will go long when stochastic crosses under the oversold area and and price has pulled back to the fast EMA - while price is above the long term EMA. Vice versa for shorts.
The stop loss and take trofit are both based on the ATR. There is a trailing ATR function as well.
Happy Trading!
Market structure intraday ES futures strategy - BuySell ZonesThis market structure strategy for ES Mini Futures optimized for intraday market analysis ( RTH ).
Entry condition identified by bearish and bullish market structure.
Support level (Green Lines) is identified based on different variations of price fluctuations followed by the close above the range.
Resistance level (Red Lines) is identified based on different variations of price fluctuations followed by the close below the range.
The idea is to spot areas where market players were fighting for the best price and one side finally won.
Bullish trend is identified by consecutive series of support levels developing in upside direction.
Bearish trend is identified by consecutive series of resistance levels developing in downside direction.
When market develops bullish trend , strategy sets LONG limit order at fresh support level .
When market develops bearish trend , strategy sets SHORT limit order at fresh resistance level .
If there is an open position no new entries are performed.
For longs initial stop is set at previous support level adjusted by ATR.
For shorts stop is set at previous resistance level adjusted by ATR.
Stop trailing is also based on market structure.
If new support level is identified, stop moves to previous support level .
If new resistance level is identified, stop moves to previous resistance level .
There are no target. Strategy either gets stopped at current stop level or exits at session end.
Strategy calculates position size based on the previous market structure and ATR.
Strategy performs compounding position sizing so as account amount increases so does amount of traded contracts.

Long Term Heat/Volatility - Accumulation/Distribution v1This is a strategy specifically made for 1D BTC/USD with the aim of capturing cycle tops and bottoms. It's mainly based on two indicators: 21d average of ATR (volatility) and (BTC.price - 180d sma)/BTC.price (heat). The strategy only signals buys or sells after occurrences of high volatility, followed by extremely high or low heat values. It's optimized for utilizing accumulation and distribution at lower and higher prices respectively with respect to last 14 days. 2nd version will include dynamic dollar cost averaging during the accumulation and distribution periods.
Chandelier Exit - StrategyI created a strategy version for the Chandelier Exit indicator, originally owned by @everget . With the strategy I prepared, you can try both short-long and stop loss - trailing stop and take profit rates. I have also added a date filter feature so that you can test the strategy in the date range you want.

Trends_2022Hello everyone,
we are developing a strategy which is suited for people that likes to trade in small time frames.
Our strategy uses many indications for entries. These indicators can be used individually or better solution we combined them together for best prediction.
These indications like True Range, Average True Range , moving averages also previous bars highs, lows and closes values and finally mathematical equations to decide close price wave movement. Most of the work is in scaling price data and comparing them with the indicators to decide trend
The strategy is planned to go only long direction..
now we will discuss how each indicator is used to decide trend
* According to ATR trend prediction ...
it is up when the scaled bar price greater than ATR value
it turns down when the scaled bar price is less than ATR value
* According to MAs trend prediction ...
we use SMA and previous bar data averages then apply linReg ( Linear regression curve) this result in curve up and down zero
it is up when the value is up zero
it turns down when the value is down zero
* According to close price wave movement ...
we applied cos function on previous bars close data to get the sloping wave of close movement
If the slope is increasing ... this means the current wave value is greater than the previous value
If the slope is decreasing ... this means the current wave value is less than the previous value
Now as we mentioned before... The strategy goes only long direction.
LONG ENTRY Conditions (ANDing condition not ORing):
we can use any one of these indicators individually, or mix any two of them or use them all simultaneously
So... LONG ENTRY Conditions are as below:
if ATR trend is used .. it should be UP.
if MAs trend used .. it should be > 0.
if close wave slope is used .. it should be increasing.
On the other side… the Exit conditions are also (ANDing condition not ORing):
So... LONG Exit Conditions are as below:
if ATR trend is used .. it should be down.
if MAs trend used .. it should be < 0.
if close wave slope is used .. it should be decreasing.
Please send me private message for script authorization.
Happy trading everyone!
Configurable Multi MA Crossover Voting SystemThis strategy goes long when all fast moving averages that you have defined are above their counterpart slow moving averages.
Long position is closed when profit or loss target is hit and at least one of the fast moving averages is below its counterpart slow moving average.
The format of the config is simple. The format is : FASTxSLOW,FASTxSLOW,...
Example : If you want 2 moving averages fast=9,slow=14 and fast=20,slow=50 you define it like this : 9x14,20x50
Another example : 5x10,10x15,15x20 => means 3 moving average setups : first wih fast=5/slow=10, second with fast=10/slow=15, last with fast=15/slow=20
You can chose the type of moving average : SMA, WMA, VWMA (i got issues with EMA/RMA so i removed them)
You can chose the source of the moving average : high, close, hl2 etc.
You can chose the period on which ATR is calculated and ATR profit/loss factors.
Profit is calculated like : buy_price + atr_factor*atr
Loss is calculated like : buy_price - atr_factor*atr
Performance in backtest is variable depending on the timeframe, the options and the market.
Performance in backtest suggests it works better for higher timeframes like 1d, 4h etc.
Disclaimer
Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors, including changing market conditions, the strategy may no longer perform as well as in historical backtesting.
This post and the script don’t provide any financial advice.

Outside DayThis strategy is taken from Perry Kaufman's book "Trading System and Methods".
You can enter on the direction of the candle, or opposite to it. I find that the opposite tends to yield better results in volatile assets, allowing a better reward to risk ratio. There is no stop loss in this strategy, only a fixed take profit and a time limitation.
Hull MA TimeFrame CrossOverHello traders,
Although this strategy is configured on BTCUSDT , with a changing of settings, it can be used on any trading instrument.
Here it is seen, on the 2 hour chart. With Trading Fees included in result (adjust to suit your exchange fees).
The candle crossover is set to Daily timeframe.
That means that the Candle crossover is going to see if todays price is higher than yesterdays price.
If user sets this to 4 hour timeframe, the candle crossover would be when price is higher than the the price 4 hours ago...
The rest is simple, a moving average to detect direction, and an ATR StopLoss (if activated).
There is StopLoss and Take Profit settings which work by percentage.
The periods of the moving average and the ATR can be adjusted, as can the TP % and SL %.
The price is taken from the CLOSE or the OPEN or OHLC4 etc... which can be changed in the settings. OPEN is recommended to avoid repainting.
The moving average also has selectable types (ALMA,SMA,EMA,WMA,HMA)
So if the Price is above the Moving average, and the moving average is above the alternate timeframe value, then a buy is activated
if the Price is below the Moving average, and the moving average is below the alternate timeframe value, then a sell is activated
if OPEN is selected as Price source, then the alternate timeframe value would be the OPEN of the alternate timeframes candle.
the values are all plotted on chart so user can see what is happening when what crosses over what, and then what changes when settings are adjusted.
Have FuN!
if this strategy brings you the epik win......

Double SupertrendThis strategy is based on a custom indicator that was created based on the Supertrend indicator. At its core, there are always 2 super trend indicators with different factors to reduce market noise (false signals).
The strategy/indicator has some parameters to improve the signals and filters.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
☑ Show Indicators
This option will enable/disable the Supertrend indicators on the chart.
☑ Length
The length will be used on the Supertrend Indicator to calculate its values.
☑ Dev Fast
The fast deviation or factor from one of the super trend indicators. This will be the leading indicator for entry signals, as well as for the exit signals.
☑ Dev Slow
The slow deviation or factor from one of the super trend indicators. This will be the confirmation indicator for entry and exit signals.
☑ Exit Type
It's possible to select from 4 options for the exit signals. Exit signals always take profit target.
☑ ⥹ Reversals
This option will make the strategy/indicator calculate the exit signals based on the difference between the given period's highest and lowest candle value (see Period on this list). It's displayed on the chart with the cross. As it's possible to verify in the image below, there are multiple exit spots for every entry.
☑ ⥹ ATR
Using ATR as a base indicator for exit signals will make the strategy/indicator place limit/stop orders. Candle High + ATR for longs, Candle Low - ATR for shorts. The strategy will show the ATR level for take profit and stick with it until the next signal. This way, the take profit value remains based on the candle of the entry signal.
☑ ⥹ Fast Supertrend
With this option selected, the exit signals will be based on the Fast Supertsignal value, mirrored to make a profit.
☑ ⥹ Slow Supertrend
With this option selected, the exit signals will be based on the Slow Supertsignal value, which is mirrored to take profit.
☑ Period
This will represent the number of candles used on the exit signals when Reversals is selected as Exit Type. It's also used to calculate the gradient used on the Fills and Supertrend signals.
☑ Multiplier
It's used on the take profit when the ATR option is selected on the Exit Type.
STRATEGY
☑ Use The Strategy
This will enable/disable the strategy to show the trades calculations.
☑ Show Use Long/Short Entries
Option to make the strategy show/use Long or Short signals. Available only if Use The Strategy is enabled
☑ Show Use Exit Long/Short
Option to make the strategy show/use Exit Long or Short signals (valid when Reversals option is selected on the Exit Type). Available only if Use The Strategy is enabled
☑ Show Use Add Long/Short
Option to make the strategy show/use Add Long or Short signals. With this option enabled, the strategy will place multiple trades in the same direction, almost the same concept as a pyramiding parameter. It's based on the Fast Supersignal when the candle fails to cross and reverses. Available only if Use The Strategy is enabled
☑ Trades Date Start/End
The date range that the strategy will check the market data and make the trades
HOW TO USE
It's very straightforward. A long signal will appear as a green arrow with a text Long below it. A short signal will appear as a red arrow with a text Short above it. It's ideal to wait for the candle to finish to validate the signal.
The exit signals are optional but give a good idea of the configuration used when backtesting. Each market and timeframe will have its own configuration for the best results. On average, sticking to ATR as an exit signal will have less risk than the other options.
☑ Entry Signals
Follow the arrows with Long/Short texts on them. Wait for the signal candle to close to validate the entry.
☑ Exit Signals
Use them to close your position or to trail stop your orders and maximize profits. Select the exit type suitable for each timeframe and market
☑ Add Entries
It's possible to increase the position following the add margin/contracts based on the Add signals. Not mandatory, but may work as reentries or late entries using the same signal.
☑ What about Stop Loss?
The stop-loss levels were not included as a separated signal because it's already in the chart. There are some possible ideas for the stop loss:
☑⥹ Candle High/Low (2nd recommend option)
When it's a Long signal from the entry signal candle, the stop loss can be the Low value of the same candle. Very tight stop loss in some cases, depending on the candle range
☑⥹ Local Top/Bottom
Selecting the local top/bottom as stop loss will give the strategy more room for false breakouts or reversals, keeping the trade open and minimizing noises. Increases the risk
☑⥹ Fast Supertrend (1st recommend option)
The fast supertrend can be used as stop-loss as well. making it a moving level and working close to trail stop management
☑⥹ Fixed Percentage
It's possible to use a fixed risk percentage for the trades, making the risk easier to control and project. Since the market volatility is not fixed, this may affect the accuracy of the trades
☑⥹ Based on the ATR (3rd recommend option)
When the exit type option ATR is selected, it will display the take profit level for that entry. Just mirror that value and put it as stop-loss, or multiply that amount by 1.5 to have more room for market noise.
EXAMPLE CONFIGURATIONS
Here are some configuration ideas for some markets (all of them are from crypto, especially futures markets)
BTCUSDT 15min - Default configuration
BTCUSDT 1h - Length 10 | Dev Fast 3 | Dev Slow 4 | Exit Type ATR | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
BTCUSDT 4h - Length 10 | Dev Fast 2 | Dev Slow 4 | Exit Type ATR | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
ETHUSDT 15min - Length 20 | Dev Fast 1 | Dev Slow 3 | Exit Type Fast Supertrend | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
IOTAUSDT 15min - Length 10 | Dev Fast 1 | Dev Slow 2 | Exit Type Slow Supertrend | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
OMGUSDT 15min - Length 10 | Dev Fast 1 | Dev Slow 4 | Exit Type Slow Supertrend | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
VETUSDT 15min - Length 10 | Dev Fast 3 | Dev Slow 4 | Exit Type Slow Supertrend | Period 50 | Multiplier 1
HOW TO FIND OTHER CONFIGURATIONS
Here are some steps to find suitable configurations
select a market and time frame
enable the Use This Strategy option on the strategy
open the strategy tester panel and select the performance summary
open the strategy configuration and go to properties
change the balance to the same price of the symbol (example: BTCUSDT 60.000, use 60.000 as balance)
go back to the inputs tab and keep changing the parameters until you see the net profit be positive and bigger than the absolute value of the drawdown
in case you can't find a suitable configuration, try other timeframes
Since the tester reflects what happened in the past candles, it's not guaranteed to give the same results. However, this indicator/Strategy can be used with other indicators as a leading signal or confirmation signal.

Fractal Breakout Strategy [KL]Fractal Breakout Strategy
This strategy will enter into a Long position when (a) bullish fractal is formed, combined with (b) ATR is relatively low. Trailing stop loss is set based on ATR.
Bullish fractal pattern :
A bullish fractal pattern looks like this:
It is formed when lower-low has reached a local minimum followed by higher-lows.
By default, this script plots the pivot point (the local minimum) using green crosses. This line will extend to the right until the next bullish fractal is formed. The local minimum pivot point is considered as key level of support. For long position entry, entry price must be higher or equal to it.
On the other hand, a bearish fractal pattern looks like the exact opposite. Reversing the logic, it is a local maximum indicated by higher-highs followed by lower-highs. This is shown by red crosses.
Why use ATR to confirm entry :
Two reasons to enter when ATR is low:
1) Since trailing stop loss is based on ATR, entering the market when ATR is low means risking less for potentially high reward.
2) Low ATR often signals price consolidation. There are two favorable scenarios, either: (i) period of accumulation, or (ii) bull flag, ideally followed by breakout.
Determining whether ATR is low :
Relative lows are quantified out by using the method in my other script: Modified ATR Indicator
The method involves applying two-tailed hypothesis testing to assess whether ATR (ie. by default lookback period of 5) has greatly deviated from a larger sample size (ie. lookback period of 50). Assuming ATR is normally distributed and variance is known, then test statistic (z) can be used to determine whether ATR5 is within the critical area under Null Hypothesis: ATR5 == ATR50. If z falls below/above the left/right critical values (ie. 1.645 for a 90% confidence interval), then ATR is determined to the relatively low/high respectively. For the purpose of assessing whether ATR is low, the left-tail is the main focus.
Profit taking :
Profits by default are taken over 3 levels based on risk to reward ratio (ie. 1R, 2R, 3R). When a target is met at each level, strategy will close out one third of current position size. Remainders (ie. already taken once at 1R, but not yet reaching 2R or 3R) will eventually be closed at the trailing stop loss price.

UT Bot v5This is an update by request, on someone elses strategy! well more of an edit, but also update from pine v4 to pine v5.
//CREDITS to HPotter for the orginal code. The guy trying to sell this as his own is a scammer lol.
//Edited and converted to @version=5 by SeaSide420 for Paperina
The UT Bot v5 is Movinging average (the MA) vs ATR (the ATR is in the form intended for use as trailing stop loss (ATR_TSL))
Entry logic:
buy = the MA > ATR_TSL and Price > ATR_TSL
sell = the MA < ATR_TSL and Price < ATR_TSL
The Moving average type can be changed in the settings:
options = "SMA", "EMA", "WMA", "HMA"]
the edits i made were:
convert to v5
Add TP and SL
Add Buy only or Sell only option
Add MA type option
Add price source option
Draw MA and ATR_TSL on-chart
Zero-Lag HMA Backtest v1.0 [loxx]This backtest compares profitability differences between a regular Hull Moving Average ( HMA ) and a Zero-Lag HMA .
Things to know:
- Profit is set to 1 ATR
- Stop-loss is set to 1.5 ATR.
- This is by design to test the minimum the profit scenario (1 ATR up) and the worst case loss scenario (1.5 ATR down) for momentum trading. Actual results vary when additional TPs are added
How to use:
- Adjust settings and dates to view different market structures and position scenarios
- See results in the "Strategy Tester" pane
Conclusions and what's next
- Modifying HMA does very little to improve backtest results
- Future iterations will include options to backtest various moving averages with additional modifiers to improve profits and avoide losses

Mean Reversion Strategy v2 [KL]Description :
This strategy will enter a position when the following conditions are met:
a) Main signal: When source data (ATR) diverts from its moving average value, and
b) Confirmation: If predicted direction of trend is favorable.
Assumptions :
During periods of high price volatility, ATR diverts from its moving average value. Eventually, ATR should revert. But since just knowing the magnitude of increase/decrease of ATR does not indicate a trend signal, we need to introduce a model to predict the current trend.
In short:
• Trend Prediction : This strategy calculates the expected logarithmic return of the security (the "Drift") and considers prices to be moving in uptrend if the drift curve is upward sloping.
• Assessment of ATR diversion : To determine "yes/no" regarding whether ATR at a given point in time has diverted, this script conducts a two-tailed hypothesis test at each candlestick period. The null hypothesis (H0) is that the fast moving average value should equal the slow moving average value (say, denoted as H0: atr14 == atr28; it is assumed that atr28 is more meaningful for the purpose of describing the current trend because it has a larger sample size). Investopedia has an article summarizing this topic .
Exit Condition :
When trailing stop loss hits.
Previous version :
This strategy is based on Version 1 published back in September . This older version considers +/- one standard deviation to be the critical values relative to average ATR when testing whether ATR has diverted from the mean. This does not take Standard Error ("SE") into account. As a result, the threshold is often too wide and it generates too many entry signals.
Trend Strategy by zdmreThis Strategy is a trend following indicator. It is plotted on price and the current trend can be determined by its placement vis-a-vis price. It is constructed with just three parameters: Period, Multiplier and Entry/Exit Point with Superformula.
The default parameters are 14 for Average True Range (ATR) and 4 for its multiplier. The average true range (ATR) plays a key role in ‘Trend’ as the indicator uses ATR to compute its value and it signals the degree of price volatility. You should note that any changes to these numbers can affect the use of the Trend indicator.
While you using this indicator, you should not avoid putting your stop loss.
For a long position, you can put stop loss right at the red indicator line. For a short position, you can put it at the green indicator line. You can insert your own settings as well.
Using Trend Strategy along with a stop loss pattern is the best way for earning the best wealth in trading.
There is no best setting for any trading indicator.
