What This Indicator Does

The Market Structure Pro+ indicator is designed to help traders easily spot swing highs and swing lows while automatically identifying key liquidity events and market structure shifts. Unlike traditional Zig-Zag indicators that rely on a fixed lookback period, this tool detects swing points based on a 3-candle formation. This makes it more dynamic and reliable for tracking actual market movements.

The indicator also provides real-time alerts for two key trading signals:

Liquidity Grabs (LQ Grabs): When price wicks above/below a previous high or low, signaling potential liquidity sweeps.

Break of Structure (BOS): When a candle closes above a previous high (bullish shift) or below a previous low (bearish shift), confirming a change in market structure.

By automating these detections, traders can save time on chart analysis and focus on execution instead of manually marking structure shifts.

How It Works

1. Swing Highs & Lows Detection

Market Structure Pro+ identifies swing points using a 3-candle confirmation rule:

• A Swing Low forms when the middle candle has a lower low than the candles before and after it.
  
• A Swing High forms when the middle candle has a higher high than the candles before and after it.
  

This method is more reactive to real price movements compared to lookback-based Zig-Zag indicators, which may lag or repaint based on future price action.

2. Liquidity Grab Alerts

• If price wicks above a previous swing high, it signals a buy-side liquidity grab (potential stop hunts or liquidity sweeps).
  
• If price wicks below a previous swing low, it signals a sell-side liquidity grab.
  
• Traders often use these signals to confirm smart money movements before a potential reversal or continuation.
  

3. Break of Structure (BOS) Alerts

• If a candle closes above a previous swing high, it confirms a bullish structure shift (potential trend continuation).
