US major indices are little changed in early trading

The major US stock indices are all trading near unchanged in the 1st few minutes of trading for the day.

- S&P index +0.01%
- NASDAQ index unchanged
It couldn't get any more flat than that.
US yields are lower in the short and and higher on the longer end as the yield curve steepens
- 2-year yield 3.695% or -3.4 basis points
- 10 year yield 4.282%, +0 point basis points
- 30 year yield 4.928%, +4.0 basis points
US consumer confidence and Richmond Fed index will be released at 10 AM. Consumer confidence is expected 96.2 versus 97.2 last month. Richmond Fed is expected -11 versus -20 last month.
The releases are generally not big market movers.
