End of 2011 ltc was added to the btce exchange (symbol on tv: btce:ltcbtc ) . If we copy the chart fractal from ltc during its high inflation phase and overlay it over zec (with a minor stretch) we get the blue bars.
We can have an open mind for that scenario to play out and zec to retest its old highs 0.1btc+ just like ltc did in its early days.
- The ltc genesis block was created at 7 OCT 2011 and trading started 16 OCT 2011 aka "Instant trading on minor supply" like zcash.
- The supply of ltc back then was increasing with the same rate (in % terms) as zec today.
- Both are forks of the bitcoin codebase but with its own blockchain.
- The only litecoin modification was faster blocktime (2.5min vs 10min) leading to 4x supply of 84m ltc vs 21m btc.
- Zcash modification is zksnarks shielded transactions (anonymity feature) and faster blocktime but with reduced block reward to keep the 21m supply like btc.
