USDJPY: Triangle Breakout: I am Still Trying to Understand
Long:
(1) Triangle Breakout coming
(2) Strong US Dollar. I've been fighting the trend to no avail. Don't fight the tape!
Comment:
It seems as though the world is pouring into the dollar to buy something. It could be the following:
(1) In order to buy most commodities you must buy the dollar. So, Investors could be buying the dollar and waiting for the opportunity to buy gold or US oil.
(2) In order to buy US stocks long-term investors have to buy the US dollar. So, they could be rushing in to buy a potential new hot stock market.
(3) Maybe long-term investors like the US real estate market? Maybe they want to set-up business in the USA because of tariffs and they find it more beneficial to work in the USA?
(4) Maybe they like the US bond/yield market?
I do not know. I am still trying to figure this one out.
