Most likely not unless you are very experienced in shorting in sideway markets. Drawing on the chart after the patterns has formed is easy.

Firstly, the emotions will come in to stir you to bet bigger had you win the first round. And your head gets big, thinking to yourself you had it all figured out. Viewers look at the chart and say : wow, imagine I can do this every day. No , the fact is you won't do this every day unless you are professional trader.

You require precision entry to maximise the profits and precision exit as well. That means you need to be watching the screen all the time. Do you have that luxury ? You may be staring at the screen for several hours as well. Do you like that ?

So, let's be grateful for the profits we have made, no matter how big or small and learn to keep calm when things ain't going our way sometimes.
