This is due to it showing the demand for cash/capital against safe heavens, therefore illustrating the beginning and ends of different economic cycles (states).
- Works by showing trend reversals or sudden increased strength of the trend at the purple middle line (correlation +above,-below) and it's peaks and troughs.
