"PhosAgro intends to produce a record fertilizer volume of over 10 million tonnes in 2020, PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guriev said at the Synergy Executive Forum.

"PhosAgro's own distribution network ensured the delivery of approximately 1.5 million tonnes of mineral fertilisers to the fields in the first five months of 2020 alone. To meet the growing demand of Russian farmers and to maintain its position in 102 countries, our company this year intends to produce a record fertilizer volume of over 10 million tonnes," he said.

Andrey Guriev, who also holds the position of the President of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers (RAPU), noted that over the last 5 years the supplies of Russian mineral nutrient complexes to Russian farmers have increased by 40%. This was the result of large-scale investments in the development of the industry's enterprises, which during the same period amounted to 800 billion rubles, of which 200 billion is PhosAgro. Over the next 5 years, investment in the industry will exceed one trillion rubles, said Guriev.
