My stop loss got triggered on the last purchase, I may have jumped in a day early. This may still be early as there has been no confirmation of the trend reversal at this point, but the signs are getting better (longer lower shadow on the daily chart and trending up on the 15m chart). Stop loss was triggered early in the morning with the long red candle, but when I had a chance and viewed the chart in the afternoon, I started a long position again due to what I saw on the 15m chart. Average share price with commissions this time is $45.0854. I am not placing a stop loss order this time as I should be able to monitor the stock more closely tomorrow, but my stop loss would be today's low of $43.68. I would like to see a price target of $47.91 to make this worthwhile considering my SL, but ideally I will hang on until I see signs of a downtrend.

Looking good so far when looking at the 15m chart. Hoping we don't have a repeat of Jul 26 2018 where we had a green candle, but then still trended down for a bit on the daily chart. I don't think that will happen because the candles are different (doji on Jul 26 vs today's that has a bigger real body with fairly equal upper and lower shadows, the lower shadow is a bit longer meaning bears couldn't keep the price down). Ideally looking for Sep 27 close to finish above $44.88 to confirm a reversal.

Green day but not the best ending, and I wouldn't consider the reversal confirmed at this point, it was looking great until the last 30 minutes of the day. We now practically have a doji on the daily chart which indicates uncertainty. Moving up my mental stop loss to about 44.05 now and looking for a stronger green candle tomorrow to confirm the reversal.

Materials was hit hard Sep 28, one of the biggest sectors to lose on the TSX. I unfortunately didn't pull the trigger on my mental stop loss, so I'm still holding this stock. Want to see how it opens and acts in October before deciding whether to hold or cut losses. Looking at 41.30 now as a major level indicating the upward trend has stopped on this.

around 12:00 today I decided to sell once the price broke 43. Avg share price of sale 42.98 for a loss of approx 4.6698%...back to the drawing board :/
