ICT Concepts 5/24 PM Session Shorts

A retracement was needed on the day and there was a short one back into a 1h FVG on ES and NQ. But the way it held I could tell we were going to go back to the HOD or continue higher, but continuing higher was very unlikely due to my bearish bias. Tried catching shorts a little too early, was not paying attention to the narrative and SMT of the market. Saw at the HOD NQ took it while ES did not, waited for a market structure shift and saw great displacement. Did not give entry right away and ran away. The real entry was at 2:40 as ES retraced into a 5m FVG while NQ did not, great SMT. And knew we were heading down from there and targeting those lows but also knew we would go greater depths but back to breakeven on the day.
