What I've learnt from this instance is that I was right that there would be a sudden and large movement. Though, of course, the direction was incorrect. I need to study more on the typical triangle patterns that emerge. Going forward I will try to be less brash about the direction until I am confident enough to do so.

When I reflect further I'm now painfully aware of my own bias. I WANT to be a bull and that has gotten in the way. Textbook confirmation bias on my end. That's why I like tradingview.
Posted ideas are immutable and force the poster to accept their errors instead of just allowing the poster to remove it. That works for me.
