Monthly Chart doesn't look as scary as the 30 min ES1!

If you turned on TV this week or tried trading, you know how volatile the market has been. Pull up a 30 min chart and see how crazy it looks. We are taught to look at the daily and weekly charts to see where the big players are moving the market. Even a daily and weekly look horrible. Turn on a monthly chart with a channel on it and all of sudden it doesn't look so parabolic or catastrophic anymore does it? Because it isn't. An 11-year channel all we did was come down to the middle of it. Higher time frame charts will tell you more of the real picture that a 30 min noise chart.
