CLF Reversal or Continuation Pattern?

One of these mischievous triangle patterns

If it breaks out of the top of this pattern
Buy around the box area to avoid whipsaws, target for this move $40

If it breaks out of the bottom of this pattern
Sell around the box for the same reason, target for this move $34

I'm going to say this is going to break to the upside though based on the stock price not making lower lows past Septembers lows.
