Doing covered calls is a conservative investing strategy, which if done right gives you leverage and profits. Putting your money in a bank & not controlling your money is wrong thing to do, less then <1%. Who cares about your money more then you do? Answer is: Nobody does.

Other option strategies area around, but being on the SELLING side of options is best side to be on: Selling puts, Selling calls and/or or doing covered calls.
Remember most options expire worthless, which means that time decay is on your side, if you are selling, not buy. Happy trading & money management #1.
