AMD finally going to make it to $60???

Been patiently waiting for months for this stock to make a real move. It just does not want to do anything but go sideways. Looks like it may be trying to make $60 within the week as it heads into earnings. There was also some news yesterday that AMD "will" release the next version of Ryzen in 2020. If it does hit $60, then I doubt it will stay there. It just never seems to hold and AMD always seems to drop before earnings.

What I don't get is that AMD is beating the pants of of Intel in performance at both consumer and enterprise. I guess their lack luster graphics card business is holding them back. However, NVIDIA stock looks unstoppable right now. I am up 53% on that. The only problem is that I sunk most of my money into AMD and only a tiny amount into nvidia. Oh well.

What a strong rally at the end of the day. AMD finished at 57.80 in after market hours (5:25pm). A bit short of $60.

Turns out the proper price of the end of wave one was the $53.19 peak. I updated my wave analysis later in the day once it became clear that the high shadow at 10:37 was the end of wave 3. That reset the 2.0 level for wave 5 to be $57.96. I used that to take a nice profit today.

Could there be more upside, I doubt it. This rally was on pretty weak volume compared to the past, and it never holds these peaks.
