AMAT is Bearish

Price was in a strong uptrend, however a bearish divergence appeared on the daily time frame, and now seems to be playing out too. Previous higher low is broken a lower low is printed instead, now price will move up a bit to define a lower high before journeying downwards again as per Dow theory.
