Short Put, Earnings Imminent

High IV in AAPL here. I was wanting to sell well below the money before earnings and today's sell off gave up some good opportunities.


[Sold] Aug 18 $142 put for $1.31. I bought the 106 wing to just free up some BP, but I like the thought of owning some AAPL if I had to.

Checked where this traded was sitting, was up about 20% already. Earnings later tonight...I thought I'd just take my luck and the $25 profit and sit and watch for tonight and then apply another trade tomorrow possibly. Filled at $1.06 db.
