AG PRO DAILY OPEN ACCEPTANCE MAP [AGPRO SERIES]

OVERVIEW
AG Pro Daily Open Acceptance Map is an intraday overlay built to track how price behaves around the current daily open and to present that behavior in a clean, rules-based structure. Instead of treating the daily open as a passive reference line, this script evaluates whether price is being accepted above it, accepted below it, or repeatedly failing around it.

The core design goal is clarity. Many traders use the daily open as a contextual anchor, but in practice it is often shown as only a simple line with no structured interpretation. This script is designed to go one step further by turning that level into a mapped decision framework. The result is a chart that helps users read whether the market is holding one side of the daily open with acceptance, drifting into indecision, or failing to maintain directional control.

This tool is intentionally narrow in scope. It is not built as a full market structure engine, a session model, a prior high/low dashboard, a VWAP tool, or a moving average framework. Its role is much more specific: to organize the behavior of price around the daily open and to express that behavior through a compact state model, visual reference lines, and confirmed state transitions.

Because the daily open resets every trading day, the script also produces a recurring intraday reference that can be reused across many symbols and market conditions. This makes it useful for users who prefer repeatable visual anchors instead of highly discretionary chart interpretation.

WHAT IT DOES
This script identifies the current daily open and treats it as the primary intraday reference level. From there, it evaluates whether price is holding above the level, holding below the level, or still testing the area without confirmation. It also tracks the first reclaim event when enabled, allowing users to see whether the market has recovered one side of the level after losing it earlier in the day.

The overlay is structured so the current daily open remains the main visual anchor, while the previous daily open can be shown as a lighter secondary context level. Acceptance areas and state mapping are kept as supporting elements rather than replacing the open itself. This keeps the chart readable while still preserving a visual record of how the market behaved around the level throughout the session.

In practical terms, the script helps answer a simple but important question: is price truly holding one side of the daily open, or is it only rotating around it without meaningful acceptance?

HOW THIS DIFFERS FROM OTHER AG PRO TOOLS
This script is intentionally separated from the logic families used in other AG Pro tools.

It does not rely on VWAP behavior.
It does not build decisions from EMA or moving average relationships.
It does not classify price by prior day or prior week high/low structures.
It does not depend on sweep, stop hunt, liquidity trap, or session-kill-zone logic.
It does not function as a structure label, breakout, or order-flow style engine.

The purpose here is much more focused. AG Pro Daily Open Acceptance Map is a daily-open behavior tool. Its main question is not whether a breakout happened, whether liquidity was taken, or whether a trend indicator flipped. Its main question is whether the market is accepting or rejecting one side of the current daily open.

That narrow positioning is deliberate. It helps keep the chart logic cleaner, the visual language simpler, and the use case easier to understand.

UNIQUE EDGE
The unique edge of this script is not the presence of a daily open line by itself. Many tools can plot a daily open. The distinctive part of this indicator is the state framework built around that line.

Instead of only drawing the level, the script evaluates market behavior around it and converts that into a practical overlay language. The chart can therefore communicate whether the market is in bullish acceptance, bearish acceptance, or unresolved testing, rather than forcing the user to interpret every interaction manually.

The script also separates the current daily open from the previous daily open in a clear visual hierarchy. The current open is treated as the primary live anchor, while the previous open is optional secondary context. This helps users compare the active intraday reference against the prior session without turning the chart into a multi-level dashboard.

Another advantage is that the visual model remains compact. The script is designed to offer information density without becoming visually noisy, which is especially important on publish screenshots and on charts where traders prefer a clean price-first layout.

METHODOLOGY
The script starts by identifying the current daily open and, when enabled, the previous daily open. The current daily open becomes the main reference for all live state calculations.

From there, the script measures whether price is sustaining closes above the level, sustaining closes below the level, or remaining in a testing state around the level. The filter mode can be adjusted to make the interpretation more responsive or more selective. In more permissive settings, state shifts can appear earlier. In stricter settings, price generally needs cleaner confirmation before a state is recognized.

When reclaim logic is enabled, the script also monitors whether one side of the daily open is recovered after being lost earlier in the day. This is not treated as a separate prediction model. It is simply an additional contextual event that can help users understand whether the market is recovering control around the open after temporary failure.

The acceptance area, open zone, and state ribbon are visual support layers. They are not intended to replace price or overwhelm the chart. Their purpose is to make the interpretation easier to read while keeping the current daily open as the main anchor.

SIGNALS AND ALERTS
The script supports confirmed-bar style logic so that state changes can be tracked in a more stable way. Depending on the enabled settings, users can monitor:

Bullish acceptance conditions
Bearish acceptance conditions
Testing or unresolved behavior around the daily open
First reclaim context when enabled
General state transitions when the market changes side or loses control

These alerts and visual states are intended for chart organization and condition awareness. They should not be interpreted as guaranteed trade outcomes, guaranteed continuation signals, or automated execution instructions.

KEY INPUTS
FILTER MODE
Users can switch between stricter and more responsive behavior depending on how selective they want the state model to be.

HOLD / CONFIRMATION SETTINGS
These controls affect how much sustained price behavior is required before the script recognizes an accepted state.

TOLERANCE AND OPEN ZONE SETTINGS
These help define how tightly or loosely the script interprets price behavior around the daily open area.

FIRST RECLAIM SETTINGS
These controls determine whether reclaim events are tracked as part of the daily open behavior model.

DISPLAY SETTINGS
Users can control whether the current daily open, previous daily open, acceptance area, ribbon, labels, and panel elements are shown.

VISUAL SIZE SETTINGS
Panel and label sizing can be adjusted depending on symbol volatility, screen resolution, and chart density preferences.

LIMITATIONS AND TRANSPARENCY
This script is not a forecasting engine. It does not predict where price must go next. It evaluates how price is behaving relative to the current daily open and displays that information in a structured way.

It is also not a substitute for complete market analysis. It does not include broader trend context, liquidity analysis, volume profile logic, macro structure interpretation, news impact, or instrument-specific catalysts unless the user applies those separately.

Different symbols and timeframes can also produce different daily open behavior. In some instruments the daily open may act as a very strong intraday reference, while in others price may rotate around it more loosely. Because of that, the script should be interpreted as a contextual decision aid rather than a universal standalone solution.

The previous daily open is included only as optional secondary context. It does not drive the main state model. The main live logic is built around the current daily open.

RISK DISCLOSURE
This script is provided for market analysis, chart organization, and educational use. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or guaranteed trade signals. No indicator can remove market risk, and no visual state model can ensure a profitable result.

Traders should use their own judgment, position sizing rules, and risk management process before making any decision. This tool can help structure chart interpretation, but execution responsibility always remains with the user.

Daily Open Acceptance Map [AGPro Series] — v1.1 Update Notes
=============================================================

This update aligns the script with the current AGPro Series visual and
engineering standard. The daily open acceptance engine is unchanged in
concept, but the presentation, panel, and zone rendering have been
rebuilt for a cleaner, publish-grade look on any intraday timeframe.

Visual Standard
---------------
- New AGPro color palette applied across all elements: teal for bullish
acceptance, pink for bearish acceptance, amber for rejection states,
and indigo for neutral and structural accents.
- The previous state ribbon has been removed. The acceptance zone is
now the single dominant visual, rendered as a clean rectangle-style
area above or below the daily open.
- Daily Open Zone now shown by default as a subtle contextual band
around the daily open, giving the tolerance region a clear visual
identity without overpowering the chart.
- Default Acceptance Zone ATR widened from 0.16 to 0.22 for a more
present, S/R-style rectangle that remains visible on higher timeframes.

Panel System
------------
- Panel header is now a single merged cell on a solid brand-blue
background, containing only the script name.
- New Panel Position input: Top Right, Top Left, Middle Right, Middle
Left, Bottom Right, Bottom Left.
- New Panel Theme input: Dark (default) and Light, for traders using
bright chart backgrounds.
- Panel font size now defaults to Normal, with Tiny, Small, Normal,
and Large options.

Labels & Live Tags
------------------
- Label font size now defaults to Normal, consistent with the AGPro
Series standard.
- Live right-edge tags (Today D-Open, Prev D-Open, active state) use
ATR-scaled vertical offsets and are clamped against recent highs and
lows, so they never sit inside the candle body.
- New Accept Anchor event labels mark the bar where bullish or bearish
acceptance is first confirmed, giving the chart a premium density
without overcrowding.
- Event label minimum spacing is configurable to control label density.
- Stale event labels are cleaned up at the start of every new session.

Engine & Performance
--------------------
- Redundant plot paths and unused helpers have been removed for faster
recalculation.
- Panel rendering is now a single-pass rebuild on the last bar, which
avoids merge conflicts and keeps runtime minimal.
- No changes to the acceptance logic, first reclaim detection, or
rejection state engine — existing alert conditions and filter modes
continue to behave identically.

Compatibility
-------------
- All existing alert conditions remain unchanged and continue to work
without reconfiguration.
- Defaults have been chosen to deliver a clean on-chart look across
symbols and intraday timeframes without manual tuning.

🔧 UPDATE NOTES - V1.2

This update focuses on readability, visual structure, panel consistency, and chart usability.

The core purpose of the script remains unchanged.
This release improves how the existing daily open acceptance logic is presented, organized, and interpreted on the chart.

This script continues to function as an analytical and visualization tool.
It does not attempt to predict price direction or provide guaranteed outcomes.

------------------------
What Changed
------------------------

• Rebuilt the source header and script naming structure.
The public script title now follows the current AGPro Series format while the panel title keeps the AG Pro brand presentation.

• Refined the daily open acceptance visual layer.
The script now uses cleaner daily open references, lighter context zones, and a more controlled active acceptance projection.

• Added a cleaner label density model.
Event labels are retained in a balanced way so the chart does not look empty, while repeated reclaim and acceptance labels are still filtered.

• Improved right-side live tags.
Today D-Open, Previous D-Open, and state tags are positioned with ATR-based spacing and forward projection to reduce overlap with candles and price labels.

• Standardized the panel implementation.
The panel header uses the required single merged blue row with only the script name, and the update routine avoids clearing the header row.

------------------------
Visual Improvements
------------------------

• Improved chart readability by adjusting labels, right-side tags, open zones, and acceptance zone spacing.

• Reduced visual clutter while keeping enough event information for a more premium publication screenshot.

• Refined visual hierarchy so the daily open, active acceptance side, and first reclaim context stand out more clearly.

• Adjusted positioning of elements to avoid overlap with candles and to keep labels away from the main price body.

------------------------
Interface & Usability
------------------------

• Optimized panel layout for clearer information flow.

• Added configurable label density, label font size, panel font size, panel position, and panel theme controls.

• Kept the summary panel enabled by default for immediate context.

• Enhanced overall user experience without changing the core daily open acceptance logic.

------------------------
Behavior Notes
------------------------

This update does not change the core analytical logic of the script.

The goal is to improve clarity and usability, not to introduce new predictive behavior.

Users should interpret outputs the same way as before, but with improved visual structure.

------------------------
Limitations Reminder
------------------------

The script remains a rule-based analytical tool.

Market conditions such as volatility, liquidity, session behavior, and timeframe differences may affect how signals appear.

Outputs should always be interpreted within broader market context.

------------------------
Risk Reminder
------------------------

This script is for educational and analytical purposes only.

It does not provide financial advice or guaranteed trading outcomes.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions.

UPDATE NOTES - V1.3

This update focuses on chart readability, visual hierarchy, panel flow, and publication-ready interpretation.

The core purpose of the script remains unchanged.
This release improves how the existing daily-open acceptance logic is presented, organized, and interpreted on the chart.

This script continues to function as an analytical and visualization tool.
It does not attempt to predict price direction or provide guaranteed outcomes.

------------------------
What Changed
------------------------

* Refined the default chart presentation.
The map now defaults to an active-day view so the chart no longer looks dominated by historical step-style rails.

* Added a stronger centered zone badge.
The active daily-open zone now uses a premium centered badge with higher contrast for faster first-glance reading.

* Improved event and context labeling.
Acceptance, reclaim, and rejection labels are spaced away from candles and use readable publication-style casing. Sparse context labels are now optional by default to prevent label clustering.

* Added global label spacing control.
The default view now applies a shared cooldown and ATR-based price-distance filter so repeated acceptance events do not stack in the same visual area.

* Reduced duplicate live-state text.
The extra right-side state tag is now optional and disabled by default because the active zone badge already explains the current acceptance state.

* Refined reclaim status reporting.
The panel now reports the latest confirmed reclaim side instead of prioritizing the first bullish reclaim if both sides occurred during the same session.

* Increased rejection label clearance.
Reject labels now use additional ATR spacing so they remain easier to read around tall candles and wick-heavy areas.

* Rebuilt the panel flow.
The panel now reads from workflow to context, acceptance state, hold progress, reclaim status, and review context.

* Expanded panel placement controls.
Panel location now includes top, middle, and bottom positions with left, center, and right options.

------------------------
Visual Improvements
------------------------

* Reduced historical visual clutter by making Active-Only View the default.

* Improved chart readability by separating live tags, centered zone text, and event labels.

* Reduced repeated event labels in the same price pocket for a cleaner default publication screenshot.

* Refined visual hierarchy so the daily open, acceptance zone, and current state stand out more clearly.

* Adjusted label positioning to avoid candle overlap and preserve a cleaner premium chart layout. Active zone badges now sit in the forward projection area instead of crowding recent candles.

------------------------
Interface & Usability
------------------------

* Optimized the AG Pro panel layout for clearer information flow.

* Added full panel controls for show/hide, location, theme, and font size.

* Kept chart label and panel font-size controls with Normal as the default.

* Preserved the single merged blue panel header row for consistent AGPro Series presentation.

------------------------
Behavior Notes
------------------------

This update does not change the core analytical logic of the script.

The daily open, ATR tolerance, hold-bar confirmation, first reclaim behavior, acceptance zones, and alert logic remain conceptually aligned with the previous version.

The goal is to improve clarity and usability, not to introduce predictive behavior.

------------------------
Limitations Reminder
------------------------

The script remains a rule-based analytical tool.

Market conditions such as volatility, liquidity, session behavior, and timeframe differences may affect how acceptance and reclaim states appear.

Outputs should always be interpreted within broader market context.

------------------------
Risk Reminder
------------------------

This script is for educational and analytical purposes only.

It does not provide financial advice or guaranteed trading outcomes.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions.
