why you multiplied and divide in this below line

banknifty_volume=((a*1.73)+(b*0.79)+(c*2.35)+(d*1.03)+(e*22.91)+(f*12.42)+(g*1.22)+(h*11.49)+(i*5.2)+(j*1.53)+(k*27.56)+(l*11.77))/12

as per my knowledge hdfc 1 rupee change should be in bank nifty 1*27.56=27.56in bn
