This is a TradingView script to map out the BTC Futures Settlement Dates. There was one floating around the internet but it was old and wasn’t updated. I took that, changed up the code and created this. Orange is CBOE and Blue is CME. You’ll notice shortly after the highlighted closed date, BTC starts to trend upwards.
Seeing as you more-or-less copied my indicator completely, it'd be nice to get some sort of acknowledgement or credit. I only coded it a few months ago, FFS.
@scarf, apologies as I saw it on a Reddit forum not knowing the author and it wasn't updated since April. Looks like you just updated it today which is great so thank you for that. Now that it's updated, I'll direct others to your new script as I don't believe there is a way to delete/update this posting (let me know otherwise). Thank you, glad you are still active with it and apologies for not knowing who you were.
AWESOME! Thank you so much. Does this script map out future expiration dates, or is that something you plan on creating? That would be a top post and I'd bookmark it immediately.

@serviceleads, @paulgsch Also - the Green / Blue columns are 3 days in width - Future contracts expire at an exact time and date.
1) Are you using 3-day timeframes because many contracts are closed in the 3 days leading up to the expiration date?
2) Is the latest date within each column the actual final close date?

@serviceleads, The middle of the highlight is the close date so it has about a 1 day buffer before and after.
