This is basically the same code as my other PPO Divergence indicator expect it overlays the signal on the candles, rather than needing the oscillator. I'm keeping the old version, as I'm sure people will prefer it, but this version takes up less screen real estate.

Updated to v4, more alert options added, and basic trend filtering added.
All signals show like before but counter trend signals are now transparent, to avoid more losing trades. If you don't want this, go into settings and remove transparency and it will behave like version 2.0
Hi there. Great indicator! One question.. is there a way to have an alert/signal which updates whenever an green or red arrow updates on previous candles (so in the past)? Thanks!

Thanks for the wonderful indicator scarf...Is there any way we can run some scanner which shows only stocks signalled divergence real time or EOD basis?

@sanyogsingh, It's not possible to use custom code in the Stock Screener but if you have a Pro Plus or Premium Tradingview account you can manually set up alerts on plenty of stocks, you just need to do each one individually

Why by default "Show PPO peak/trough triangles?" is set to false ?

I added the peaks/troughs as an afterthought in the original indicator, it's not really part of the divergence idea so may have been confusing for people
