Analyzing charts and trading are two very different things. In hindsight, scaling in at this green box was the play I should've stuck with instead of stubbornly holding onto my $8200 long, which was planned to be a scalp anyway. I struggle with the discipline to cut my losers immediately, and this is just another example of it. We take many swings, never knowing which ones will be home runs, but this is a lesson for me about how I had the right plan. The scalp failed, immediately, and I should've been out immediately, waiting to scale into this green box to capture a larger move.
