Waste Management NYSE:WM is one of my favorite stocks because I was once asked, when I said I was a professional technical trader, "if the price of garbage was going up, you would buy it?" To which I replied, "yes, I own Waste Management"
This morning I received a volatility spike alert which is happening at a major 50% Retracement.
Added to my position that began back in March of 2020 when the world was ending.

@clpettit, We'll never know but the rotation seems to be into defensive consumer staples stocks.

@norok, WM Primary shareholders are Vanguard, Blackrock, Gates Foundation (Buffett). It helps to pick the best train to ride. Sector rotation within the broad indices also helps to stabilize the index. An alert for s&p500 held stocks could be an effective way to spot early smart money rotations.
