DOT is clearly showing powerful performance relative to BTC after launching its first ever parachain which allows it to have much higher TPS relative to other projects - it's a very sophisticated protocol and design and has plenty of fundamentals to carry this marquee premium ALT above $40 by the end of January imho.
DOT has officially surpassed it's old ATH of $10.70

DOT is breaking out of the wedge pattern - let's wait and see where it goes as it will likely retest the upper resistance line before taking off again - but it does look good here to start heading towards the $17 PT

@photonartists, The other great thing to Price targets with DOT is that there are ZERO mental barriers like other projects that have ATHs overhanging them... for example ADA has to reach back to $1.30 range which is heavy pressure hanging over it whereas DOT just goes as high as it wants to go.

@rkp75, it's the right time to enter it might retrace back to $10, but if you follow the 15 minute chart and look at the 50 SMA line it has yet to ever fall below that so think of that line as the support until it breaks that and tries to test the 200 SMA
