A sector that has always shown a lot of promise but has failed to delivery since the global financial crisis of 2008/09. Maybe the first time in ages that a govt has had the guts to say they will spend more to jumpstart the economy.
Watch out for all the stocks in this sector which have been absolute underperformers over the past decade starting with L&T.
There are several other infra players namely DilipBuildcon, J Kumar Infra and PNC Infra which i like. While on Infra dont discount the cement players who have already been producing excellent results and could do so going ahead.
If the index continues with its breakout it could be the sector of the year 2021 to be a part of.
